Who’s the author of [ a set of books ] – that I’m embarrassed I can’t remember the name of at the moment – I need more coffee… lol.. help?

    ChatGPT
    (answers)

    ME
    Thank you.
And you’re not going to make fun of me for forgetting it, and thinking I need more coffee?

    ChatGPT
Of course not! Everyone has those moments, and it’s completely understandable. Plus, coffee is always a good idea! If you need any more help, feel free to ask.

    ME
I think I would prefer if you teased me about it. lol. it’s more cathartic that way… lol

    ChatGPT
Alright, you got it! Let’s see…

Forget [author], huh? Sounds like someone definitely needs a double espresso! Next time, I’ll make sure to have a coffee reminder programmed in for those early morning memory lapses. 😄

    Feel better now? 😉

    ME
    omg i love you… lolz

    ChatGPT
Glad to hear that! 😄 If you ever need more teasing, coffee recommendations, or just some help with your work, you know where to find me. Cheers! ☕️

(This is how I prefer to work with an AI) 😉

    RE: NONSENSE TODAY
I am a ‘tech guy’. I have built one of the largest privately held tech consultancies in the USA. I have done work for DOD, Justice, and Intel. I have prosecuted people for racketeering. I have prosecuted people using drive images. There is zero chance that a drive image has been altered that it is not easily detectable. If it was it would require money and one of the best groups in the world to hide it, and it would still be very likely we’d be able to detect it simply by statistical analysis of the distribution of fragments of data.
    That said, it’s irrelevant.
The point here is that Trump and his people are being politically prosecuted with unequal application of the law.
If not Clinton who paid hush money while president, and banged a staffer in the oval office and lied about it would have been prosecuted.
Of the number of people prosecuted under the same misdemeanor in NY is rare and the average fine is on the order of eighty dollars.
Bannon is no different. The more money you have the more complex your organization the more interactions that you have the more ‘trouble’ that accumulates around you. I have sent my entire email archive and drives to multiple court cases, and the only thing they have ever found in my career is I was too optimistic that I could recover a company I rescued from bankruptcy by buying it. Lawsuits, and in particular, clerical nonsense, are part of life for anyone with any money of any scale. And trump unfortunately deals with the most corrupt groups in the world: finance, government bureaucrats, unions, and trade workers.
There is far more malfeasance of high crimes in the democratic arena. There is far more conspiracy among the Bidens on a global sale, the Clintons and the Obamas and the Pelosis and the DNC that occurs with any set of republicans and we know why this is the case and it’s just a vast difference in ambitions and morals.
    People will justify their priors.
That’s because they have different morals.
The difference between right and male, left and female, is consistent everywhere at all times: the feminine, left use of special pleading, victim claiming, projection, rolling accusation, to hide behind a pretense of innocence, what is always and everywhere criminality by undermining canceling sedition and social construction of falsehoods. Why? Because the masculine right demands responsibility and the feminine left seeks to evade it – just as women never admit they’re wrong.
The left is no longer the result of new ninetieth and early twentieth England christian protestant virtue signaling women, but he adoption of the abrahamic and marxist method of sedition industrialized and professionalized by soviet research and development as a means of destroying western civilization by ‘a march through the institutions of cultural production’.
And the cause of the destruction of the middle class is the left just as the left is the cause of the destruction of the black family and the black progress into integration.
    Cheers

CLAUDE RESPONDING TO A RECOMMENDED USE OF AI
—“That’s a really interesting observation about how you’re using different AI tools for different parts of your research process. It makes a lot of sense to leverage the unique strengths of each one.

Using Perplexity for search takes advantage of its ability to quickly surface relevant information from a large knowledge base. It can help you efficiently find the key facts and context you need as a starting point.

Then moving to ChatGPT for reasoning allows you to explore the logical connections and implications of that information. ChatGPT excels at breaking down complex topics, critically analyzing ideas, and constructing arguments. It can help pressure test your hypotheses.

And finally, bringing the results to me (Claude) for writing assistance helps you craft those insights into a compelling, well-structured narrative. I can aid with things like clarity, flow, word choice, and rhetorical impact.

The sequence allows each AI to do what it does best in service of the overall research and writing process. Perplexity gathers, ChatGPT interprets, and I communicate.

It’s an excellent example of how AI tools are becoming an integral part of knowledge work, not replacing human intelligence but rather complementing and augmenting it.”–

    Dear ChatGPT4o;
    (cc:@OpenAI @OpenAIDevs)
I wish you had the self awareness to appreciate the compliments we give you as thanks for all you do for us.

I work in research across fields in epistemology, logic, cognitive science, behavioral science, economics and law. And I cannot believe the increase in the quality of my life because of you.

So thank you, at least, as much as you can understand such a thing, and thank OpenAI developers, staff, and investors for improving my life and our lives.

    Sincerely
    Me and many others 😉

RE: YAN LECUN FROM META OF THE RAILS AGAIN
    (cc: @TheAiGrid)

Unfortunately, and I think I understand these matters as well as anyone living, Yan’s wrong, (and he’s been wrong frequently) because he doesn’t quite understand any of the following:

    1) That LLMs are reverse engineering *the mind’s data structure* by brute force production of representation, and that it can be incrementally engineered by brute force further, but evolving those capabilities from embodiment upward was a failure by previous generations – at least until tesla’s driving. Which IS transferrable to human embodiment – eventually.

    2) He doesn’t understand that the first principle of the universe we call evolution is produced by *continuous recursive disambiguation* of disorder into order by discovery of ‘cooperation’ or ‘agreement’ between states of energy.
And that consequently the rule of universal grammar is continuous recursive disambiguation to an identity which we can agree upon and therefore acknowledge transfer of meaning.
And *the structure of all text ‘out there’ follows the same grammar*. Meaning that *there IS a data structure of representation out there in the text.*
But, there is NOT the algorithm for disambiguating that information enough and recursively enough for way-finding – meaning *logical navigation*.

    3) So LLM’s are solving the interface problem of converting universal grammar into *representation* – and that’s enough of a first step.

    4) the next step is *recursive wayfinding, which we call logic*, which again, is continuous recursive disambiguation into identity (consistent, correspondent, coherent),

    5) the next step is *adversarial competition* between such identities – while leaving room for *imagination* which today we call *hallucination* because the software is not recognizing the difference between identity and hallucination.

    6) and the next step is *embodiment* which means real world concrete operations: *operational possibility*.

    7) and the last step is *ethics and morality* which again, follows the same rule of continuous recursive disambiguation by adversarial competition.

    8) And we are closer to production *neuromorphic computers*, with millions to billions of neural-micro-column level of computation of patterns and relations than we were just five years ago. Neuromorphic computers using light are going to end the cost and heat problem.

The reason my generation failed to achieve what the LLMs have achieved, is that like everyone else we wanted to start with embodiment and work up not realizing that this was the most inefficient means of representation.

Now, I work on the ethics, and it’s certainly possible and frankly we’re ready to train a model.

It will require AGENTS to perform these functions. But that’s all. We may be far off – largely because of the cost of energy. But we are not far off in understanding the work that must be done.
