Depends on how long I live. The business is related to the work. ‘Runcible’, the engine of the product, implements the AI rules of P, collects data necessary for GAI, and is the basis for ‘education’ free of deceit. Can’t do that without the science to do it. Ergo, book. See?

Dont know if @Zoom can pull it off, but they’re the wedge into the next generation platform that does to FB et all what FB did to email et al. I suspect that (a) the market will misread negative sales numbers (b) zoom will use the wrong UI (c) they’ll shoot wide rather than deep.

Me: “Alexa can you make me a cup of coffee”
Alexa: (tells me how to grind coffee)
Me: “Do you have a skill that lets you make coffee?”
Alexa (twirling lights): “I have a selection, (…) do you want to …?”
Me: “No thank you”
Alexa: “Here’s a selection called Angry Girlfriend”

This video illustrates the AI hardware problem (and solution) simply and elegantly.
We don’t use AI today, but neural networks. Neural networks are closed to introspection. Neural networks will feed digital programs. Digital programs will evolve to mirror language.

Have been trying GPT3 and it’s absolutely positively useless for anything and everything I write. lol. I know why (density of relations), but it’s still pretty good for blurbs and marketing (shallow relations).

The reason today’s hardware and software AI can train but not learn is architectural. And I(we) have known this since the 70s. All we have done that I can see is cheapen hardware and develop a few design patterns in software. We still have the wrong hardware. Maybe that’s good?

Moreover, Musk and Co just demonstrated yesterday that they fixed (reversed) hardware architecture to work more like the neocortex. That was all that was blocking us that I know of – other than we need better tools. There is only one step left before general ai: embodiment.

I’ve been cautious about the predictions re: AI(robots) given the hardware incompatibility with the underlying cortical organization. So @elonmusk ‘s predictions were due to inside knowledge that Tesla had solved at least the first generation of the hardware problem – correctly. https://twitter.com/curtdoolittle/status/1428711684156297226
