Luke is innovating and increasingly quickly. Brendon is increasingly judicial in his rulings. Martin … well, martin is that elegant balance of considerate, and correct. Alain is likewise, friendly and explicative. We see our Anonymous James back around here and there – and he is very likely, if he chooses, to run away with yet another level of sophistication. And I’m staring to see others come up now that are clearly trying. Some days I just want to say fk it. Other days I wanna cry with joy that this kind of thing is even possible. I hope we have time. If we have time we will have our school that reverses the second abrahamic dark age of ignorance and deceit. Edit

So, the study of man is the study of man’s acquisition of all that he desires. Man acts to acquire. NEUROBIOLOGY While we will undoubtedly gain further insights into man, brain and mind, it is unlikely that the Propertarian principles will be falsified – only increased in precision. 1) that man acts to acquire property en toto, 2) moral bias is determined by reproductive strategy 3) specialised moral biases that reflect our reproductive strategies and voluntary cooperation allow us to produce a market for cooperation that functions as an information system making use of the entire spectrum of perceptions in the division of perception, cognition, knowledge, labor and advocacy. 4) language evolved largely to justify actions in the context of cooperation rather than to identify truth propositions. Truth is difficult for us because it is critical. Justification is easy for us. PSYCHOLOGY Instead of asking what is right or wrong (deviation from an ideal) with someone’s thinking (a totalitarian doctrine) we ask what they seek to acquire, and whether they seek to acquire it by moral or immoral means. All human behavior can be expressed as interactions between desires for acquisition, the need to negotiate, and moral constraint, and the relative value, or lack of value, of cooperation. But we now know that Austrian is the most moral, Chicago at least interferes under rule of law, and Keynesian (saltwater) economics is the means by which we conduct the most deceit. POLITICS Instead of asking what action is best (monopoly) we ask how individuals can organize into groups to conduct exchanges with other groups, in order to acquire what they wish to by moral or immoral means. WAR Instead of the empirical falsehood that war is universally bad, war is the only solution to the failure to cooperate on marginally indifferent moral terms, and war is perhaps the most productive effort man can undertake if one group increases the suppression of parasitism of another group, and especially if it creates or improves trade routes. Violence is either the means by which we enact parasitism, or the means by which we eliminate parasitism. If we eliminate, or at least reduce parasitism substantially, then war, like all prosecution of parasitism, is by definition, moral. Emotions are measures of changes in state of property. When they tell you hate or any other emotion is a crime, they’re trying to convince you your measurements are erroneous and to get you to stop measuring so that they can change the state of your property without obstacle.

Dec 28, 2019, 9:09 AM Consciousness is deterministic with scale, and biased by body form. Any being with sufficient neural capacity will develop similar intuitions and behaviors. Consciousness means modeling recursive future states by grammar of action. And we are programmed by action in reality. There is no mystery to consciousness. The nervous system is a lovely, profoundly simple thing, and there is trivial difference between a transistor and a soma, and the organization (adaptation) of the nervous system by dendritic wayfinding is indifferent from wiring circuit boards other than the infinite untraceable unmeasurable complexity of any given set of excitements. I am pretty confident of the structure of each major region of the brain and how it processes information, and there is no magic to recursive memory by thalamic preservation of state, and hippocampal production of indexes, and hippocampal rehearsal to store memories during break, rests, sleep. The experience of awareness is just a concert, like the experience of consciousness and it’s all just a constructed spectrum of preservation of networks. And anyone who has written an A* search for way-finding a maze can simply relabel variables and functions with brain regions and grasp the concept. Neural networks approximate that complexity, functions abstract that complexity, classes abstract that complexity further, but the underlying process is the same. Software must make address connections between simulated neurons and serially process calculations, while the brain only makes physical dendritic connections in infinite, inexhaustible, complexity and permutation. At present I dont know (maybe no one does) the provisioning of new episodic indices, and whether they are permanent or temporary. And the reason we can only produce robots at present is simply one of scale given the problem of serialization. I suspect we will solve that problem as evolution solved vision, which is to break the problem into pieces producing a symbolic input to a hierarchical system of prediction. I don’t see why we can’t do that other than the current cost would be ridiculous although it’s clear google is trying to use pre-processed information (search content) the way the financial business uses pre-processed information ( prices). I don’t know what they’re doing but as far as I know, it requires the development of symmetries (think, metaphysics) and a grammar (think thought, emotion, action) and a vocabulary to do that for the same reason humans needed language to think more deeply (system of measurement). Right now all I see is categorization (identification), and prediction and I don’t see anyone producing a metaphysics, grammar, and vocabulary bounded by similar rules to language, which will be necessary for machines to communicate because shared hierarchical memory would be slow (other than for the predator-prey division of labor), and protocols (languages) are necessary to encapsulate patterns such that access to (chaotic) underlying memory structures (neural networks and the training that got them to a given state) is unnecessary.
