We just tolerate female antisocial behavior more so than male because we can ignore undermining, gossiping, sedition, canceling, promiscuity, mean-girls, magical thinking, special pleading, and the near inability for women to tell the difference between expressing emotions and telling the truth. Around a third of women are mentally ill, and up to 40% are medicated – and demonstrate these traits because they lack the internal regulation. Conversely, even if men demonstrate antisocial traits, we both notice them and punish them for it.

Consciousness is the natural outcome of sufficient memory (neural volume) organized in a sufficiently recursive hierarchy (humans it’s back to front), combined with the origin of all cognition as organization of the body (particularly the bilateral body) for movement, and the evolution of that movement for the purpose of wayfinding. If you have a sense of homeostasis, memory, hippocampal region’s indexing of memories,, even the most elementary development of it, and enough recursive volume (hierarchy) you will develop consciousness simply because the capacity to predict increasing variation of potential increases in wants (consumptions), is a function of the neural volume to do so, and recursion of that memory hierarchy produces the ‘experience’ of continuousness – with humans its around three seconds.

Religion philosophy or knowledge are necessary for the production of mindfulness as the means of suppression of neuroticism, in proportion to one’s self image, status, and success in life. Religions evolved during the age of transformation because of the restoration of trade after the bronze age collapse and the greek introduction of the technology of money debt and credit.
Science: there are only a few requirements for religiosity and they are not a compliment:
(a) empathic instead of systemic sex differences in cognition – with empathic bias amplifying neuroticism.
(b) neuroticism – especially in women.
(c) feminine bias in cognition for the same reason.
(d) Intelligence – allowing the application of systematizing -with intelligence mediating the need for fictitious evasions of reality, and greater ability to cooperate with others.
(e) Indoctrination – with lower intelligence, more superstitions, less educated, less advanced polities more dependent upon sedation by religious superstition.
(f) in a european population that means about 20% of people will need some sort of social and psychological sedation if we do not provide an institutional means of training people into mindfulness. In an east asian population it’s as little as 10 percent. In a south eurasian population from north of africa to east of india with average IQs down in the low 80s, it’s necessary for two thirds. In africa we don’t know yet but statistically it appears closer to ninety percent.
(g) Neotenic evolution suppressed impulsivity and aggression in exchange for agency and moderation. That’s the primary difference between the races and the civilizations that evolved to support cooperation between them.

“Reasoning is wayfinding.”
All human cognition evolved from coordination of two hemispheres for the purpose of movement in pursuit of acquisition of resources (or escape from harm to them). Once one has dependent offspring, a nest and a social group, one requires wayfinding.
Wayfinding requires a context or episode (index), a need or want (motive), auto association (goal), and relations (paths). That’s all that’s required to organize a neural network to continuously learn.
Everything in the brain and mind is an evolution of the minimum capabilities to navigate.
Evolution in ability is just ‘more neurons’ in a hierarchical, recursive organization of increasing abstraction of increasing complexity of information – but performing the same very simple (even trivial) operations.
Stimulation > Nervous system > Memory > categorization (perception) > Episodic memory > Auto association > wayfinding > [repeat]
It’s not even complicated. There is just a lot of it going on in a continuously updating stream of massively parallel competition for survival of a ‘route’ that achieves an end.
Consciousness is just the memory of the past few seconds of the surviving memories that result from that adversarial process and how we predict it will affect our homeostasis (state).
