I should clarify “people with bad taste experience the world in low resolution”. It’s the difference between collecting a lot of pretty, shiny, little bits, or things vs producing a harmonious composition. Order/Disorder. Again, empathizing vs systematizing at the low end. https://twitter.com/curtdoolittle/status/1569829900823179265
3 – So, for example, you know how tacky people have really bad taste? Well there is a pattern to cause of their bad taste. It’s because they experience the world in an exaggerated low resolution. The are the Indian Rural Bus of female aesthetics: cheap, crude and tasteless. https://t.co/ATJBUOmjrM
1 – Ok. I’m educated in the fine arts, and my first work in analytic philosophy was in judgement of comparative art.
2 But I don’t understand these makeup-monsters having the impression that they’re ‘high value women’. They’re usually hideous, high mileage, middle to lower prole.
I’m not competent to advise a parent, which requires knowledge of parents and child. I can only state that the evidence is overwhelming that social media and Instagram are damaging to young ladies in particular by setting irrational expectations of self+others.

One of the more profound concepts I can teach you – and explain why the philosophers are rather silly. Consciousness is tediously simple. Enough available energy (oxygen), enough neurons (costly), and enough environmental demand (for behavioral adaptation), and it’ll emerge. https://twitter.com/curtdoolittle/status/1569772680034787329
In other words, most philosophers have it completely backward: it’s not that the brain produces illusion of consciousness. Consciousness produces the illusion of an observer: “you” are the illusion.
Once you internalize that your perception of existence will change.
So there is no observer. When you’re conscious you’re ‘running’ and the cumulative effect of miniscule bits of continously recursive memory in a hierarchy create the equivalent of ‘persistence of vision’ allowing detection of and valuation of change. Boringly simple.
Hopefully thats enough hinting to give you something to work with. Consciousness is an evolution of moving your limbs. The range of perception is just broader distance. Because the range of our perception, valuation, and action is broader. It’s trivially simple really.
