Most women’s degrees are nonsense-degrees (demonstrations of conformity). The only ‘degrees’ are STEM+L. Everything else is just signaling.

As far as I know women compete with women for status, not for men; and access to men of status is relatively easy for any woman with sufficient sexual market value. We just often misjudge eachother’s market value – especially our own – b/c we don’t see our competition.
