SCIENTIFIC EPISTEMOLOGY
This is the universal epistemic process for all human knowledge.
1. Experience, auto association, free association > Idea
2. Contemplation, falsification > hypothesis
3. Testing, falsification > Proposed Theory
4. Market application falsification > Working Theory
5. Exhaustive market falsification > Surviving Theory
SCIENTIFIC CLAIMS
A Fact, A Theory, and Falsification of It
1. One can claim a scientific warranty of a measure(fact) or of a narrative(theory).
2. A theory consists of two components: a transformation(operation) and a description(search).
3. And a theory requires surviving exhaustive measurements – not inference, b/c Induction is false.
EXAMPLE
I avoid the covid subject because I don’t trust any data I can find. I only have any confidence in the delta in total deaths. As far as I can tell everything else is attention-seeking hype for political, academic, commercial, or selfish ends, and any semblance of ‘science’ nil.

A SHIFT IN THE PUBLIC BUT I CAN’T PUT MY FINGER ON IT?

This is precisely it. No one can put their finger on it because it isn’t a point. At this point we must free our hands, become more capable & put both hands & our arms around what matters & hold onto it like letting it go may kill us; it just may!
Humans export sanity. But our means of exportation has been crippled, as socializing as such has become a punishable offense. So, we are feeling the hangover from re-orientation. The 6th is going to provide directionality to the future. It doesn’t end on the 6th. It begins.
The story of democracy has ended. The narrative history of the West has now been put into question. The fictional history fed to the last half dozen subsequent generations is making them ill. They now understand eating bullshit from a shovel isn’t nutritious; plus they’re full.
The new narrative is comprised of an emergent convergence of truth tellers. Public sentiment is common sentiment. I’m not sure it exists but via negativa. Meaning, people understand what they don’t want now. They understand what they don’t need. This vision was forced.
All of what the average human thought they wanted, even if they still wanted it (doubt), has been put out of reach. The safety nets have human sized holes in them. Human sized holes are best filled by humans they’ve figured. The shift to caring for kin has been kickstarted.
The narratives are phony & they all know. The US is the 22 year old kid who just realized their abusive father isn’t big enough to threaten them any longer; & the kid vividly remembers each time he was struck unjustly.
My generation (millennials) are 10 years late to the party. That’s the big gap. The new baby boom is coming. The elder millennials, my cohorts, set trends. We’re less about consumption than Peter Zeihan believes. Fancy consumption gifted status in the 2000s; but no longer.
The global stooges don’t have anything to offer America. Traveling round the world is a cosmopolitan sentiment; real Americans loathe cosmopolitans. We long for the cosmos not leisure.
The great reset has sparked a great awakening. It’s not them it’s us. People are reevaluating themselves. The veil has been lifted. They understand now, they fund their captors. The next step is to rob those captors of sustenance. Ordinary people become extraordinary under less than ordinary conditions.
The great shift is one of consciousness.
We’re merely stewards of Eden; we’ve neglected to pull the weeds. We’re supposed to shepherd our people, but amongst us reside too many wolves. We’re meant to keep our brothers; yet we’ve afforded for their slaughter.

@Carabistouille I think you missed my point. I don’t disagree with those two posts – although they’re poetic, poetically true, and quite beautiful, and avoid my criticism. I disagree with using other people’s words rather than one’s own when participating in a discourse, debate, or argument. 😉

You MUST have faith in god because you have nothing else.
It’s this kind of lying that was invented in the middle east, added by Paul to the teachings of jesus, and with which paul and followers created the religion of christianity REGARDELESS of what jesus actually said and did (which is very little and is captured in the jefferson bible).

@Carabistouille An argument you cannot make yourself, is one you cannot claim is true. You cannot claim faith is true only that you have faith in it. Either you have faith independent of others thoughts or you do not have faith. Either you have faith independent of argument or you do not have faith. Faith is enough for choice. It is not enough for truth that decides between choices.

In a company, city, or army of 20,000 people the president, mayor, or general can personally know the ~150 key people and manage them (strategy), using the root of 150 or ~12 senior executives, and ~3 final authorities (finance, logistics, operations). 1>3>12>150.
POWER LAW SCALE CONSEQUENCES
This means that 1% of the people in an org, regardless of scale, provide all the competitive advantage. It’s why 1% end up holding all working capital. It means if your society cannot produce that hierarchy with genetic talent – you’re screwed.
INTERNATIONAL POWER SCALE
This is why group aggregate IQ matters – because elites compete against world peers on behalf of citizens. And it’s also why organizations must be national, not international, and why states must now take over strategic capital investment as has China.
GRAND CONSEQUENCES
It’s why India needed castes, Europe martial aristocracy, china the bureaucratic state, It’s also why Arabs need Israelis like Latins need germans, like germans need anglos, like conservatives need libertarians, and underclasses need liberals (marxists).

RELIGION
Religion consists of Strategy, Myth, Ritual, Debt, and Method of argument, and of generational transfer, providing organization, commensurability, choice, non-conflict, mindfulness regardless of ability. Knowledge, philosophy, law, and science improve the precision -for the able.
The evidence of the word of god if there is one is written in the fabric of the universe, in the formal, physical, natural, and evolutionary laws discovered by science. Jesus provided a necessary insight extending the natural law of cooperation – solving the prisoner’s dilemma.
Geometry, Philosophy, Law, Rule, and War are minority aristocratic tools – ability, agency, resources needed. The majority cannot bear the burden of knowledge. That is why Christianity took root in the empire’s women then slaves, then men only when it gave them political influence.
I can’t help you. Discourse is impossible. Either you imitate Jesus or you don’t. Everything else is kabuki theatre, so that those of limited ability, agency, and means can by shared social construction brave a kaleidic universe beyond their understanding, influence, and control.

@robertknowlton Early christians used the greek letters chi-roh as an icon or logo which was especially beneficial for the illiterate majority.
This is one of the many benefits of many years of Catholic Education – offset by my exasperation at informal survey of priests who didn’t know what INRI on the cross meant. lol
