Russian history was fairly heroic before the (((Soviet))) era. It’s the american west with worse weather against more advanced peoples with even more viscous traditions. I studied history first, but I studied art history second, and it was art history that helped me understand the different peoples of this world more so than any other. Economics explains why things happen but art gives you insight into the soul of the people and what inspires them. So this …. russian aesthetic … frames my understanding of them as ‘we few against the world’. So there are very good books on russian art history. And just skimming through them is probably important. This is the best ‘textbook’ I’ve seen: 1 – A History of Russia – by Nicholas V. Riasanovsky, Mark D. Steinberg 2 – The Great Game: The Struggle for Empire in Central Asia, by Peter Hopkirk 3 – The Icon and the Axe: An Interpretive History of Russian Culture by James H. Billington 4 – Medieval Russia’s Epics, Chronicles, and Tales by Serge A. Zenkovsky 5 – While Shakespeare is undoubtably the best poet, the best Novels and Plays in Christendom are the Russian – bar none. The great works of the russian novelists are well known. So, I see russians as a small poor people, in a hostile territory, struggling to overcome the barbarians. My view of russians is fairly heroic. That they made a terrible mistake with (((stalin and trotsky))) is something I see them escaping – slowly. The problem is it probably can’t be done domestically better than putin is doing it. His mistakes have been largely international. And he’s right. Russia emerged from the (((bolshevik))) era by return to her origins. And the west is continuing to fall for the (((cosmopolitan lies))). The Science of Christianity (really)
—-“What is the overall message of the bible?”— (“Salvation”) It is: “If you submit (abandon) your reason, and surrender (abandon) your will to the commands of an evil omnipotent and omniscient fictional character, and imitate the life of another very benevolent and charitable fictional character, that you will find salvation (be saved) in a non existent afterlife, after you die.” Scientifically: Now scientifically speaking, christianity is reducible to:1) the eradication of hatred from the human heart. 2) the extension of kinship love to non-kin. 3) the extension of exhaustive forgiveness before punishment, imprisonment, enserfment, enslavement, death, or war. And this turns out to be the optimum strategy for producing persistent high trust cooperation. It’s just counter intuitive since we evolved very aggressive altruistic punishment. And functionally: More than 1/3 if not 1/2 of people are lack the agency both internal and environmental, and or the intelligence, and or the resources to contrive a means of successfully competing in market civilization, when ones self worth and status are determined by by that success. As such providing an alternative method by which people of limited agency, ability, and resources can develop virtuous behavior, and personal mindfulness, and therefore happiness with their self image, through merely extension of kinship love, forgiveness, and charity is a successful strategy. Moreover, the externalities produced in a market civilization by large numbers of these people constructs the trust necessary for prosperity in a market civilization. And Politically: Despite lacking agency, ability, knowledge, education, and resources, people are able to use ‘faith’ and the ‘christian strategy’ to defend against threats to their strategy, their self image, and the good they do to society, are impervious to corruption, to persuasion, to coercion, and to abandonment of that strategy (hence why intelligence agencies love to hire christians). The problem is that there is an ever declining percentage of the population willing to use this strategy by faith, even if there is an ever expanding population willing to use this strategy if stated as scientifically as I have here. So while a demand for ‘church’ remains, a demand for the primitivism of semitic underclasses, has been replaced by a demand for the advance reason of european middle classes. The already devoted are irrelevant. It’s those who are not open to devotion that don’t need a religion of faith, but a religion of reason, that need mindfulness.

—“what Is Your Opinion on Teen Sex?”—
As always, the problem is not sex, but causes and consequences: (a) pregnancy – and the damage this does to not only you, the child, but the society that must pay for your mistakes, (b) and single motherhood, (c) or immature parenthood, (d) the degree of interest in it, such that it detracts from other things. (e) the high correlation between multiple sex partners and unsuccessful families. The ‘intensity’ of the male sex drive in the teens is just …. amazing. Testosterone is the most wonderful drug of all. It’s just mind-consuming. I think for boys it doesn’t matter – we are evolutionary machines and the need for sex is purely physical. But girls are different – and should not use sex to ‘buy’ attention, or being liked, or ‘belonging’, or ‘status’ (which is all too common), and should not participate because of alcohol or drugs – if you need alcohol you aren’t ready yet. This is the best test: If you aren’t prepared with protection, aren’t ready to do it without chemical assistance, aren’t willing to plan it rather than stumble into it, and you aren’t willing to keep it between the two of you permanently, then you aren’t ready. Conversely, if you have protection, don’t need chemical assistance (drugs or alcohol), can plan it so that it’s private somewhere, and can keep it between the two of you permanently (the urge to tell everyone is very powerful), then you might be ready. General rule of thumb: What happens between male and female is no one’s business as long as you don’t make it anyone’s business. This is true in all walks of life. The problem is, do you need to tell anyone? If you do, then you aren’t ready.

My Policy on Drug Dealers
My policy on drug dealers is that once you’ve been convicted of trafficking, you are no longer insured by the people. In other words, if you are murdered then there is no crime to investigate. Now, my definition of a drug is one that empirically results in dependency. My policy on drug use is that you can’t use them, drive, use powered equipment, weapons, or be responsible for other people. In particular as far as I know, tripping is good for you if you can handle it. Sedating drugs are useful. Pleasure center drugs are a problem.
