Again: MBTI vs BIG5/6 vs Moral Foundations vs Gender

October 16th, 2018 10:43 AM AGAIN: MBTI vs BIG5/6 vs MORAL FOUNDATIONS vs GENDER (from elsewhere) In other words, the principle difference between MBTI and Big 5 are (a) the weight it gives to trait expression, and (b) the principle difference in value is that with 100 Questions we can test your IQ within a half a standard deviation, because all components scale evenly, but we cannot test the rest of your personality traits with so few questions because they do NOT scale evenly. Moreover, MBTI is a WORKPLACE and social weighting of traits, while BIG5 is a THERAPEUTIC weighting of traits. These are differences in value rather than differences in measurement. I was not the first person to make this distinction, but I have written extensively on the fact that while MBTI is imprecise, it is the maximum complexity of a model that individuals can work with in the workplace. We can measure all sorts of trait expression, and even the big 5 FACTORS must be broken down into TRAITS in order to accommodate the difference in factor expression between the GENDERS. STATISTICAL DIFFERENCES: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10156661592707264&set=a.10156479504747264&type=3&size=850%2C370 In this sense MBTI is a better judge of the GENDER biases inherent in cognitive and emotional biases because its fairly obvious that the gender distributions are inverted. Whereas this transparency was only visible in BIG5 after division from Factors into Trait Expressions – and that occurred fairly recently (post 2000), as psychology attempted to reform from a pseudoscience to a science when confronted with imaging, genetic, and pharmaceutical science.

  • The left HAS to be kleptocratic. They’re dysgenic.

[H]onor and Decency are antithetical to the left. They mean ‘don’t steal’. The left HAS to be kleptocratic. They’re dysgenic.

  • Absolutism Is Nonsense. Zero Tolerance Is Not.

ABSOLUTISM IS NONSENSE. ZERO TOLERANCE IS NOT. 1) We pursue what we can both undrestand and suits our interests. 2) Absolutism is easy to understand. It’s the children’s-blocks version of political problem solving. 3) Absolutism is easy to use when ‘backward’ or ‘at war’, but extremely error prone at competition and production. It is an extremely weak form of organization compared to markets. It depends on retaining the attention of the populace through constant manipulation. It is expensive. Hence absolute military, absolute law, market economy, limited charity is the optimum order. (India vs China. China has better demographics, is ethnically homogenous, and has the red army. India has none of the above.) 4) one can organize the vast network of productions in an polity by authority (fear), compensation (reward), or deceit (fear or promise). But we are no longer in a position where the information system can be monopolized and the population is ignorant. 5) The purpose of advancing markets (liberalism et all) is to provide those in power with the means of holding and expanding power cheaply and easily. In other words, one is naive to think he can capture attention and power without material incentives, and we are all victims of overestimating our deviation from the norm. 6) The optimum government is flexible (Roman) with Authoritarianism for War, Markets for growth, and Redistribution for Windfalls. 7) In other words: Money Scales Power. And the vast majority are always and everywhere motivated by (a) access to mates, (b) food and food prices (now energy as well), (c) change in economic condition (d) release from perceived oppression (taxation, competition, conquest). POWER REQUIRES WEALTH REQUIRES MARKET ORDER REQUIRES RULE OF LAW – which is what Putin has had to learn. OUR RULE OF LAW IS SIMPLY TOO TOLERANT. (Ergo – stop stroking your dicks, and masturbating to manga-fantasies of absolutism.)

  • Upcoming Book: Alienated America

October 16th, 2018 6:32 PM UPCOMING BOOK: ALIENATED AMERICAAlienated America: Why Some Places Thrive While Others Collapse Available February 19, 2019 [D]uring the 2016 presidential campaign, Donald J. Trump proclaimed, “The American dream is dead,” and this message resonated across the country. Why do so many people believe the American dream is no longer within reach? Growing inequality, stubborn pockets of immobility, rising rates of deadly addiction, the increasing and troubling fact that where you start determines where you end up, and heightening political strife — these are the disturbing realities threatening ordinary American lives today. The standard account points to economic problems among the working class, but the root was a cultural collapse. While the educated and wealthy elites still enjoy strong communities, most blue-collar Americans lack strong institutions that bind them to their neighbors. And outside of the elites, the central American institution has been religion. That is, it is not the factory closings that have torn us apart; it is the church closings. The dissolution of our most cherished institutions — nuclear families, places of worship, and civic organizations — has not only divided us, but eroded our sense of worth, belief in opportunity, and connection to one another. In Alienated America, Timothy P. Carney visits all corners of America, from the dim country bars of Southwestern Pennsylvania to the bustling Mormon wards of Salt Lake City, and examines the most important data and research to demonstrate how social connection is the great divide in America. He shows that Trump’s surprising victory was the most visible symptom of this deep-seated problem. In addition to his detailed exploration of how a range of societal changes have, in tandem, damaged us, Carney provides a framework that will lead us back out of a lonely, modern wilderness.

  • Zero Tolerance

    October 16th, 2018 5:07 PM ZERO TOLERANCE

—” …really let that sink in…. conflation… that’s all it took. A bit of ambiguity and a bit of repetition and the cult of non-submission became a slave society.”—Bill Joslin

Zero Tolerance is the only defense against incrementalism.

  • The Rise of The Postwar Anti-White Cult

October 16th, 2018 6:10 PM THE RISE OF THE POSTWAR ANTI-WHITE CULT (and it’s parallel to Christianity)

[Y]es. They used the postwar prosecution of the Nazis to create new a religion (Fictionalism) in order to oppose the Darwinian revolution, Cultural Marxism to destroy our Art, History, and Values – and to the 1965 immigration act to destroy our social order, and Postmodernism to lie about it, and take advantage of the conformist mind to run with the herd. • Our European Gods

October 16th, 2018 5:02 PM TIWAZ > TYR > DEYUS PATER > ZEUS PATER > JUPITER > SOL INVICTUSTHE UNCONQUERED Sol Invictus (“Unconquered Sun”) was the official sun god of the later Roman Empire and a patron of soldiers. In 274 AD the Roman emperor Aurelian made it an official cult alongside the traditional Roman cults. Scholars disagree about whether the new deity was a refoundation of the ancient Latin cult of Sol, a revival of the cult of Elagabalus or completely new. The Elagabalium was a temple built by the Roman emperor Elagabalus, located on the north-east corner of the Palatine Hill. During Elagabalus’ reign from 218 until 222, the Elagabalium was the center of a controversial religious cult, dedicated to Deus Sol Invictus, of which the emperor himself was the high priest. THE INVINCIBLEInvictus (“unconquered, invincible”) was an epithet utilized for several Roman deities, including Jupiter, Mars, Hercules, Apollo, and Silvanus.[10] It had been in use from the 3rd century BC.[11] The Roman cult to Sol is continuous from the “earliest history” of the city until the institution of Christianity as the exclusive state religion. JUPITER (ZEUS PATER) Jupiter (from Latin: Iūpiter [ˈjuːpɪtɛr] or Iuppiter [ˈjʊppɪtɛr], from Proto-Italic *djous “day, sky” + *patēr “father,” thus “heavenly father”), also known as Jove gen. Iovis [ˈjɔwɪs]), is the god of the sky and thunder and king of the gods in Ancient Roman religion and mythology. Jupiter was the chief deity of Roman state religion throughout the Republican and Imperial eras ZEUS (PATER) Zeus (/zjuːs/; Greek: Ζεύς, Zeús [zdeǔ̯s]) is the sky and thunder god in ancient Greek religion, who rules as king of the gods of Mount Olympus. His name is cognate with the first element of his Roman equivalent Jupiter. His mythologies and powers are similar, though not identical, to those of Indo-European deities such as Indra, Jupiter, Perkūnas, Perun, Thor, and Odin. DYEUS /d’YOOOs/ Dyēus (Proto-Indo-European: *dyḗws, also *Dyḗus Ph2tḗr, alternatively spelled dyēws) is believed to have been the chief deity in the religious traditions of the prehistoric Proto-Indo-European societies. Part of a larger pantheon, he was the god of the daylit sky, and his position may have mirrored the position of the patriarch or monarch in society. ODIN It appears that Odin was a person (law giver, wise man) from whom european ‘nobility’ (rulers) claim to have been descended. Gradually (guessing?) Odin evolved (ascended) into father of Thor (Sky God, Thunder God) et al. One does not submit to these gods. One imitates them. One does not beg from these gods. One sacrifices (exchanges) favors with them. The weak submit or beg. The strong Trade, Outwit, or Vanquish.

  • Agency Must Be Trained

October 16th, 2018 5:41 PM AGENCY MUST BE TRAINED by Brandon Hayes

[A]gency has to be fostered and trained. We can develop systems to promote it. Having an agency based (propertarian) framework is a great first step. Teach people to view the world in a reciprocal fashion. We teach dogs to be helpful; I can teach even an objectively bad dog to not be a burden.

  • Atheism Isn’t a Religion. at Best It’s an Ideology

October 16th, 2018 4:38 PM ATHEISM ISN’T A RELIGION. AT BEST IT’S AN IDEOLOGY [A]theism isn’t a religion (and casting it as such is a fraud), it’s a statement of Science (measurement) and used as an Ideology (political change), and arguably a Prosecution (law against fraud and harm). The only reason atheism is ridiculous is because we haven’t restored the oath, stoicism (mindfulness), ancestor, and nature worship (celebration). (native western religion) As such Criticism without Replacement is rather IDEOLOGICAL, for the simple reason that intuition(emotions) DO REQUIRE training, just as do our bodies, reason (reason, calculation, computation), and memories (knowledge, skills). Religion is just one of the layers of education. We can perform that education by various means. The whole ‘lies’ nonsense isn’t a necessary means. There is no evidence of it.

  • NPCs? Not So Simple…

October 16th, 2018 5:39 PM NPCs? NOT SO SIMPLE… by Ely Harman

It’s not as simple as “NPC bad!” There are NPCs on our side too. Most conservatives are NPCs. The issue is most people lack the agency (awareness) for self-ownership, sovereignty, enfranchisement, or any number of related, partially overlapping, terms. That doesn’t mean they can’t be good, functional, members of society. It just means they can’t be in charge of it. Making a pretense of putting NPCs in charge (through universal franchise democracy or whatever) is just a sham way of putting whoever can pull their levers (media, academia, etc…) In charge. And that’s simply not worth doing for a variety of complex reasons mostly having to do with issues of accountability or “skin in the game.”
