    [W]ell, IMO this is the problem: we can’t do this without ourselves breaking the postwar consensus. I mean. We do this then russian and china do this, and iran does this and we eventually have world war three MAYBE, unless we agree with russia and china first on how to manage our spheres. The postwar consensus is over. But if WE are its defenders (police) and WE do it, then it’s really over and then the entire purpose of the postwar consensus – preventing another world war – is finished. IN my opinion graceful transition to balance of powers is going to happen and we are committing suicide by resisting it.

And (b) Why would anyone read either theology or philosophy in the age of math, logic, sciences, economics, law, history, and literature – each of which is less vulnerable to fraud and confirmation bias, than sophism (philosophy) and magic(theology)? (c) because the only reason to do so is to justify perpetuate a fraud, commit a falsehood, justify a bias, or admit one’s incompetence at developing sufficient mindfulness (agency) to leave fantasy fiction literature behind. That’s more than either the christianization of rome 9%, or the nazis in germany 7% or the Bolsheviks in Russia ~3%. I always thought that the “Democratic” ideal confused people. A society survives by the smallest number of men willing and able to engage in civil war to end it.Usually takes only 1-3% of the male population. There are 500% more than necessary. (And they have 80% of the weapons.)
