The head size is a good torso hit, the fist size a good head hit. Tie them to something like a sapling or a branch so that they move in the breeze. Helium is even better tied to sticks or rocks, because they bob up and down but helium is hard to take into the field. This makes small moving targets. Move distance where you think it will be hard to hit those targets. Get to your knees, or prone. Look at them. Count One-one-thousand, two-one-thousand, three-one-thousand. look at the ground. count to ten while looking at the ground. Shift a body-width to the right, left or backward. look up, while counting one-one-thousand, two-one-thousand, if you get to three-one-thousand without shooting a balloon you’re dead. Repeat until you can do it from some kind of concealment. Still targets are for sighting a weapon. That means they should not be infringed upon if they are compatible with the rest of civilization. Curt has no interest in hindering our right to practice our religion, only in hindering the use of ANY METHOD to perform or advocate for theft (parasitism). He hasn’t always done a good job of making this clear (recently he has been trying to clarify) but that is not his job. His job is to write law. Our job is to make the law digestible for others. In a propertarian society we would have much greater religious freedom to actually live out our faith. Real freedom of association (positiva) would be restored because we would have freedom to disassociate (negativa). So, as an example, you could no longer be forced to bake cakes that advocated for “alternative lifestyles”. This is just a quick example of a current hot button issue but if you give it some thought I’m sure that you could find many other examples where we, as Christians, would benefit from the restoration of just this one aspect of natural law.     (FB 1546891062 Timestamp) That feeling when your top of the line macbook pro, whose entire innards you have already replaced, decides to shut down, not take a charge, JUST when you are down to fixing the last few functionality bugs before you launch; and you tear the house apart looking for those damned torx screwdrivers, the take apart the entire box, only to realize you just needed to reset the SMC because you over-drained the battery while coding, and therefore not paying attention to alerts. Yes… that feeling. And that look. That look you only get after (a) lifting weights, (b) sex, or (c) thinking your main box has died and you’ve lost work you aren’t sure you can reconstruct …. I need a scotch, some water, and a shower… lol

Further, we find that is the cognitive ability of a pair of players, and not the ability of an individual player, that predicts cooperation.’— High IQ leads to higher rates of co-operation. Trust is both a consequence of and necessity for long term co-operation or multi-co-operations. And this gets to the crux of why Nassim Nicholas Taleb’s discussion of IQ is so fundamentally flawed. It isn’t about the individual – it is about the group. To paraphrase Clinton, ‘it’s the group stupid!’

    (FB 1547142813 Timestamp) CONVERTING PHILOSOPHY INTO SCIENCE (worth repeating) Philosophy can be laundered such that philosophizing (imaginary and verbal) and theorizing (existential and actionable) are essentially identical, by the use of: 1) operational language, 2) the full accounting of costs, and 3) declaring the method of decidability in the choice of preferences and goods as those of: … (a) the feminine equalitarian herd (dysgenic), or … (b) the masculine hierarchical pack (merit). However, if you do that you will end up with the natural law by selecting 3b, and a network of excuses and lies by selecting 3a. You can’t get out of it.
