Throughout his life, Jefferson was intensely interested in theology, religious studies, and morality. Jefferson was most comfortable with Deism, rational religion, and Unitarianism. He was sympathetic to and in general agreement with the moral precepts of Christianity.[4] He considered the teachings of Jesus as having “the most sublime and benevolent code of morals which has ever been offered to man,”[5] yet he held that the pure teachings of Jesus appeared to have been appropriated by some of Jesus’ early followers, resulting in a Bible that contained both “diamonds” of wisdom and the “dung” of ancient political agendas.[6] Still, together with James Madison, Jefferson carried on a long and successful campaign against state financial support of churches in Virginia. Also, it is Jefferson who coined the phrase “wall of separation between church and state” in his 1802 letter to the Danbury Baptists of Connecticut. During his 1800 campaign for the presidency, Jefferson even had to contend with critics who argued that he was unfit to hold office because of their discomfort with his “unorthodox” religious beliefs. In a letter to John Adams dated August 22, 1813, Jefferson named Joseph Priestly (an English Unitarian who moved to America) and Conyers Middleton (an English Deist) as his religious inspirations.[9] Jefferson used certain passages of the New Testament to compose The Life and Morals of Jesus of Nazareth (the “Jefferson Bible”), which excluded any miracles by Jesus and stressed his moral message. Though he often expressed his opposition to many practices of the clergy, and to many specific popular Christian doctrines of his day, Jefferson repeatedly expressed his admiration for Jesus as a moral teacher, and consistently referred to himself as a Christian (though following his own unique type of Christianity) throughout his life. Jefferson opposed Calvinism, Trinitarianism, and what he identified as Platonic elements in Christianity. In private letters Jefferson also described himself as subscribing to other certain philosophies, in addition to being a Christian. In these letters he described himself as also being an “Epicurean” (1819),[10] a “19th century materialist” (1820),[11] a “Unitarian by myself” (1825),[12] and “a sect by myself” (1819).[13] Upon the disestablishment of religion in Connecticut, he wrote to John Adams: “I join you, therefore, in sincere congratulations that this den of the priesthood is at length broken up, and that a Protestant Popedom is no longer to disgrace the American history and character.”—

You are comfortable with white lies because white lies are how we provide solace to those who are suffering when we cannot ,or cannot afford to, or will not, take the actions necessary to end that suffering. Your work as a therapist could involve cognitive behavioral therapy. It does involve suggestion by the use of narration, thereby circumventing the trauma, analysis, and self criticism all of us make use of. But then you take this means of suggestion from the realm of interpersonal circumvention of trauma so that we might offer education by suggestion, and attempt to scale it to education. And this is where your white lies become ordinary lies, which you justify (obscure) with the lie of conflating the truth with the good and the preferable. There is no such thing as ‘darwinian truth’. There is only utility that satisfies a personal good, or a personal preference. We can weave a set of these utilities, like a story, into a justificationary network, that provides us with defense against our fears and insecurities – rather than training us out of fear and insecurity. But these are just another network of white lies. Judaism, Christianity, Islam and Buddhism are constructed of little other than these comforting white lies. Stoicism in the form of ritual self authoring(mindfulness) and ritual ancestor worship(Thanks), ritual community worship(thanks), and ritual nature worship(thanks) do nothing other than perform cognitive behavioral therapy that gives us confidence to act in a kaleidic universe the causal density of which is beyond our comprehension. So, Even today you maintain your market position with white lies. And you selectively argue with (a) scientific results, (b) clinical example, (c) historical example, and lastly (d) parables constructed of those white lies. And while in therapy, absent chemical assistance necessary to provide distance between cognition and trauma, fear, and insecurity, white lies allow us to operate by suggestion. Such lies do not scale. There are 1B dead between old world abrahamism( judaism, christianity, islam), and new world abrahamism (marxism, postmodernism, and feminism) and a thousand year dark age some of us are still trying to drag our civilization out of. And abrahamism consists of what appear to be white lies: False promise of the impossible, and destructive if successful, straw man criticism of the opposition, a vast network of lies in supernatural (religious), pseudoscientific (feminism, marxism, freudianism, boasianism, cantoriansim, messianism, keynesianism and mathematical platonism), sophist (postmodernism) prose, defended not by rational, operational, and scientific argument, but where argument is avoided by disapproval, shaming, ridicule, rallying, gossip, undermining, and reputation destruction on the personal, social, political, and intellectual scales. So no. There is no ‘excuse’ (justification) for white lies outside of catastrophic loss, therapy, injury, sick bed, and death bed. There is only one truthful definition of truth: that which is decidable independent of individual comprehension, preference, or collective good. And worse, it is through the scale of white lies that we have endured and still endure, a dark age of ignorance, and the billion lives loss to the conflicts created by defense of lies and offence with lies. There is nothing false in the natural law of sovereignty reciprocity, truth, duty, charity, and markets in everything. There is nothing false in the elimination of hatred from the human heart, the extension of kinship love of family to the polity, personal acts of charity, and the exhaustion of forgiveness before abandonment or punishment. There is nothing false in ritual thanks to one another, to our ancestors, to those who made our existence possible, to the natural world, to the universe, and to the universe’s god – in whatever form that might be. There is nothing false in their parables, their myths, their histories other than their ignorance and vulnerability of time and place. There is nothing false in the ritual training of the body, intuition(soul), memory(knowledge), reason (calculation), ethics, morality, the law, and the skills with which to prosper. There is nothing false in that combination of of which will cause us, and any who likewise do the same, to transcend into the gods we have not yet made. That is not a sentimental argument. It is the optimum order for human beings. There is none better possible. It’s just science.

I want to restore the church and family as the central institution of our society, and eliminate the state-finance-consumption sector as a means of preying upon our people. To make that work requires another reformation. Not to the exclusion of the protestant one. But to restore a religion for OUR people. And it doesn’t mean I have to invent it. I just have to put the box around it to protect whatever is there. So i’m sorry if it’s offensive but it’s got to be done. Even atheists have a religion, they just can’t articulate it as one. And the one we have is dying along with the next generation.)

Mine was running businesses, watching the press lie about what my father said in town council, encountering the immorality of the legal system, and the one sidedness and immorality of divorce. I don’t care whether you get it from the manosphere(personal), the alt-light(social), alt-right (political), propertarianism(institutional or intellectual?), nasdap(military) sphere. We all understand the world in the power-language that we are most familiar with, and can best empathize with, and are most motivated by. What matters is that we have an OPERATIONALLY POSSIBLE solution for the survival of our genetic lines, our people, our culture, our civilization, and our ability to drag mankind out of ignorance, superstition, poverty, into the gods we imaged – the universe is ours for the taking. The only thing I focus on is the solution. I’m happy if everyone else focuses on REACH. -hugs

It is f–cking common sense. The difference is that I defend that common sense both logically and scientifically, because what is ‘common sense’ to you ‘is not common’. I made a Law of what you consider ‘common sense’. It is that law, the constitution that embodies it, and the logic and science in defense of it, that make it open to utility in persuasion, resistance to falsification, and institutional implementation, rather than simply a difference of moral bias and condition. I wrote our law. No one ever did that before. We just ‘do it’. For thousands of years.
