@KnightofGab We are seeking for signals of non-aggression from one another – women by social non aggression, and men by physical non-aggression. Yet we are female-empathic-social super predators, and male-physical-political superpredators.

We developed many ‘technologies’ and ‘adaptations’ so that we could release the stresses of self regulation of female social superpredation, and male political superpredation.

This is why we evolved by neoteny – just like dogs from wolves – by slowing the rate of maturity so that we could develop agency. So what we see in female antisocial behavior and male anti social behavior is female internalization, and emotional-social self-and-other harm, and male externalization and physical self-and-other harm.

Likewise we developed externalization of emotional stress as chatter between women (providing ‘mindfulness’) and externalization of emotional stress between males in fire gazing, or hunting, or sport-watching, (giving us time for our stresses to run down) trash talking, and loyalty signaling. Or as we traditinoally said: women say kindnesses they don’t mean, and men say insults they don’t mean, and this is how we ameliorate the stress of our ‘mammalian’ instincts.

This is also the source of religion which is largely for the satisfaction of female need for mindfulness, and campfire-sitting, sport or debate, which is largely for the satisfaction of male need for mindfulness.

It is also why women and men both change the subject whenever the opposite sex walks into the room. Because it reintroduces intersexual stress, and prevents intra-sexual stress reduction.

We are pretty simple animals really. It’s all the stories we tell one another instead of the truth that makes life seem complicated.
