(FB 1541879184 Timestamp) WESTERN MAN, AND THE LAW. by Michael Churchill (Paraphrasing Curt): The myth of western man IS the law. The law is our mythology. We are creatures of the law. The law allowed us to rise out of the slime. To civilize ourselves and everybody else. (Paraphrasing Bil): Hippie healing experience is a not-very-useful diversion from law. Every hippie healing modality can be better handled with better application of natural law. It was some failure to apply the law (in past or present) that created the disorder and suffering in the first place. So one can go straight to the breakdown in the natural law and thereby get to the root of the problem. Identify the misunderstanding of natural law, and the root of the problem is revealed. To the extent one resists full accounting under natural law, one is fleeing from one’s problems, and the suffering continues. A week of hippie healing gives temporary respite from symptoms, but without full accounting and truth-telling, the core of the disorder remains. Half our suffering today results from suppression of natural law by those who benefit from its non-application (which leads to societal breakdown, which is always good for somebody). Anyway, this is the core of the Proprietarian analysis and I find it very persuasive. (But I am still not convinced Freud was completely wrong either.) (CD: Well, looks like michael has earned his propertarian diploma)

So, when I want to buy a company…
(FB 1541855892 Timestamp) So, when I want to buy a company, I raid it’s second tier staff first. Then have the purchasing, marketing, and sales people spread rumors of trouble. Gossip spreads like mad. There are always people that are looking for the next step up. Give it to them. Use the intel. Raid. Establish Relations. Buy the Company. You would think it wouldn’t work, but it depends on how you handle it. The principle problem organizations face is that very few people in any organization provide the talent that maintains competitive positioning. Talented people want to work for smart people who they can learn from, and achieve more by working for or with. If you catch those people, then the people who worked for and with them follow. Then the customers follow, then the company can be acquired at a discount. I have done this so many times that I can’t remember. I have built my companies largely through organic growth not acquisition, but I have built the staff largely through key recruiting and acquisition – because talent follows talent.

The Experiment Is Over and The Jury Is In
(FB 1541951913 Timestamp) THE EXPERIMENT IS OVER AND THE JURY IS IN The jury is in. Monarchs produce better commons. the fewer the people in politics the better. The more powerful the law in resisting the king, a government, or each other, and the more powerful the militia in resisting all above, the better. Liberalism in the sense of rule of law won. Monarchy in the sense of production of commons won. Fascism in the sense of state nationalism, ethnocentrism, state capitalism, and intolerance for competition on other than economic means, won. Why? it’s the optimum decision making structure because it is the optimum means of accommodating differences in knowledge and incentives.

My main annoyance with Peterson
(FB 1541956556 Timestamp) —“I admire Peterson’s ability to articulate himself and handle the dishonest tactics that are thrown at him by interviewers and debaters. But by the same turn my main annoyance with him, and others like him such as Moly is that they seem to think that being articulate is the best way or perhaps only way to confront dishonest tactics, and that they resort to the same tactics themselves as a means of doing so. Not everyone can articulate themselves that well, especially during a confrontation. I certainly can not do it, in fact I am often stunned speechless when people use sophistry against me. To live in a society where these tactics are the norm is a nightmare for me, and it would not matter how many men like Peterson stand up against it since they are still perpetuating the problem. I like his stance against regulation of speech, and I think it is important but it is only a stop gap measure.”—Jennifer Dean
