    Source ( http://ergo-sum.net/literature/CultOfCompetency.pdf) The address the above excerpt is pulled from has become something of an inspiration for me in defining and pursuit of a cult of competence. The problems we are working to provide solutions for now have been plaguing man for at least as long as we’ve been writing it story down. The cult of competence has always been there in some form wherever dangerous free individuals pursue fruitful and virtuous interaction with other dangerous free individuals.

  • Could We Falsify All Human Speech in Court?

    Jan 5, 2020, 2:48 PM We can, and do, falsify all human action in court. The question was, could we falsify all human speech in court. The answer is yes. The usual problem is that someone wants an ideology(political) philosophy (secular theological), or theology (supernatural theological) solution – which is impossible. Because Science (truthful testimony) is falsificationary. As far as I know, P is complete. And there are no false or ir-reciprocal statements that can survive its falsification. That fact that people can’t get their noggins around the fact that all science (testimony) like markets (competition) is falsificationary is a common problem. But it stems from a failure to understand that science is falsificationary, then demanding P, like philosophy, ideology, or religion be justificationary. It’s not. So they criticize P for not being a science on the one hand by false presumption science is justificationary, and then complain P isn’t justificationary. Kind of silly really, but you can see where they get it from. Most people are stuck in the error of “Mathiness” because they don’t grasp the constitution of, or limits of, mathematics. Math breaks down in all three directions: the very small, the very large, and the very-human (cognitive): economics. If you need a positive theology, philosophy, ideology, sophism, or pseudoscience, then I understand the via-positiva is necessary for simple minds. But grownups are not afraid of via-negativa (skepticism), because we know all non trivial non tautological propositions are contingent, because we may always or nearly always, discover some novel parsimony that allows us to reorganize our paradigms for greater consistency, correspondence, coherence, completeness and parsimony than before.

The left applies the bare minimum ghetto ethic (no provable conflict of interest – cheap, easy deniability and pilpul) to its own, but will gladly apply our standards (no appearance of conflict of interest – expensive compliance) to us. They don’t even care about maintaining trust; they just intuit the huge costs of adherence to our standards and attack us with it, in the same way that they use the judicial process itself, rather than the judgement, as a weapon. This also explains how they can suddenly be more Catholic than the Pope when criticizing us: it’s all about maximizing the costs (damages) they can impose.

    Jan 5, 2020, 3:51 PM Thoughts… Subconscious has been troubled by (or working on) something that is beginning to take shape, and I can’t quite put my finger on it yet, but it’s coming out as very clear distinction between the feminine semitic and compromise hindu, and masculine european-sinic, but it’s deeper than that. It’s that the female-semitic method of argument (baiting into hazard is literally the antithesis of evolution. It’s the greatest threat to humanity – greater than plagues. Because its a plague of the mind. The discussions today on operations. It’s another example of whomever made the comment last summer, that the Grammars are as important as testimonialism and acquistionism+propertarianism. I keep seeing more and more opportunity behind the grammars and this whole need for a new mathematics and the grammars is running around my head and there is something there on the fringes of auto association – a pattern of something – that I think would dwarf the previous insights. So there is this strange constellation forming between the semitic-european falseood-truth problem, the next-math problem, and … damn. Constitution -> Course -> Big Book -> Religion – and in the background I”m going to have to work on this problem and see where wolfram hit a dead end.
