    And how does one know those points of demarcation?

    The central problem of human cooperation is not violence, it is free-riding. Violence and theft in-group, turns out to be fairly easy to suppress. But free-riding in-group is very hard to suppress.

    So, to use a common libertarian philosophical error, lets look at Crusoe’s island. Why? Because the central problem of cooperation for any human being is that he is born into a tribe that raises him, whether that tribe is a pair or few dozen parents. So the model we must work from instead, is an island evenly distributed with individuals of different ages and abilities, all of whom naturally try to free-ride on one another. Free riding is a useful strategy for a multi-generational animal that requires high investment parenting.

  • If the ‘Un-Insured’ nuclear family is the majority of society, or at least, grea

    If the ‘Un-Insured’ nuclear family is the majority of society, or at least, greater than the Pareto minimum of 20%, and the polity is homogenous, it’s likely that signaling will take care of containing the dysgenic families. But in a diverse polity I dont see how the signal economy can function, either as an advocate of the nuclear family, or a constraint on free riding.

    The ‘insurance company” traditional family encourages redistribution and at least limited free riding.

    The “corporate insurance company” (The STATE) forcibly redistributes between moral and reproductive structures, but what this means in practice is the conquest of aristocratic uninsured non-free riders, by communal insured, or state corporate insured, free riders and rent seekers.

    America’s miracle, I think, was a combination of two factors: (a) giving away a conquered continent to immigrants, and (b) indoctrination into the combination of nuclear family and property rights. And the extraction of those people from the high-insurance, high free-riding, traditional family of Europe.

    But it couldn’t survive.

    As the germans and anglos, who were the majority until the 20th century, were outbred by less eugenic (catholic) families, the black family was destroyed through progressive good-intentions, and finally dysgenic traditional family (hispanics) and inbred family (muslims), and our legal traditions did not survive jewish intellectual attacks on our institutions.

    If they had be UNDERSTOOD as economic institutions, and social institutions, and WRITTEN DOWN, it’s possible, but but they weren’t. So there has been a scramble for the past century and a half or more, to contain the non-ANF families from expressing their reproductive strategy in politics.

    Aristocracy wants eugenic development and the rest want dysgenic reproduction. The concentration of calories (eugenic aristocracy) the distribution of calories (dysgenic communalism). This is what we should expect from people – who are not equal.

    Although I think i’ve made some amazing progress lately, what I think I have learned from my work is not particularly comforting for someone who loves liberty more than life. I am becoming convinced that liberty is a niche solution to hardship that is highly eugenic, and highly productive, but I am not sure that without environmental ‘mass’ (universalism) of the nuclear family, and a militia determined to fight for it, that it CAN exist. It is an aristocratic social model. Entirely aristocratic.

    I think people who desire liberty, and the nuclear family, will be like christians in the Lebanon. Wealthy until the proletarians kill them out of envy. The social result of the Dunning Krueger effect: “we are oppressed” rather than ” they do it better than we do”.

    LAMENT

    Tough couple of decades. Illness, divorce, cancer, illness 2, divorce 2, cancer 2, disease 3, losing millions, Watching others ruin the business you built over a decade. Fighting against my own government, that has no moral constraint. At this point I feel like I’m working in a war zone.

    Bast week has been absolutely crushing. I just recovered physically and mentally in, maybe August? So I’ve sort of had four good months now. And like a good warrior I soldier on. Try to make sure my family will be taken care of. (No one else will).

    No mater what I do it turns to money. But at this point I’m sort of falling apart from all the accumulated wear and tear. 🙂
