    I sent the development team, and their wives, to a Villa in Cyprus again, for the summer, as incentive to get to feature complete. Lots of strategy in play. They really can’t do much except eat, work, and play there. No distractions from the chaos here. And team bonding is awesome when you live together. They seem pretty happy about it (mostly). One wife isn’t all that thrilled I guess. 🙂 The rest appear to be.

    Until they get to feature complete, my work is to basically leave them alone. Once we get to feature complete, then I get to dump all the minor changes on them. And once that’s done, I’ll have a beta product ready to raise a capital round, just in time for the fall.

    While I”m doing the raise, we work on performance, since it’s a pretty heavy app. The backend is fine. The UI is heavy. And we need to speed it up a bit.

    I suspect the US economy will continue to weaken, but I don’t see a loss of appetite for this kind of product.

    Cyprus is an advantageous banking economy. Ukraine is an advantageous tax economy. We are still trying to figure out how to do all this without being in the predatory US of A, or EU.

    The flip side is that I am pretty free to write now. But book-writing and post-writing are two different things. And the book work is slow going. We’ll see. I’ll keep at it. 🙂

    But its pretty clear to me that in the current era, the best life men can have is to live with five other guys, get a housekeeper you treat with motherly respect, and accumulate your wealth while treating females as opportunistic entertainment.

    This suits the feminists who see males as extraneous and marriage a prison. But it is a prison for males. It all but guarantees old age poverty, and midlife depression.

    The family man as a universal aspiration was a recent invention.

    Our quality of life drops dramatically. Early marriage is for fearful betas.

    Women are terribly expensive under feminism. So the only rational choice is equality of selfishness.

    Revel in it. Marry late. Mary wealthy. And with full offshore protections. And maintain your walkaway power.

    If you desire children, understand that at the moment if conception the state considers you a slave.

    The only solution is to keep the home fully leveraged, and your savings offshore.

    Charles Hugh Smith, who I follow closely gives great analysis of the demographics of politics.

    But he needs to read about russian kitchens, how fences make good neighbors, and the english development of the civil society – through private not shared resources.

    Our problem us the failure to constrain the breeding if the underclasses. That us the only problem facing man, because it is the cause if all problems facing man.

    I still also need to restate Boettke’s defense of Austrian Economics as a moral constraint. When I first started it was the best articulation – but its in desperate need of an update, and better positioning against the other Five Families of economic factions.

    Rothbardian ethics are all well and good if you want to be a parasite within a high trust low transaction cost society – and harm it in exchange. Or you want to construct a low trust society with high transaction costs that allow you to be one of many parasites.

    But rothbardianism legalizes parasitism under high transaction costs, that are WORSE than the parasitism of the state and its low transaction costs.

    Rothbardianism is worse than statism.
