Can we just buy our aircraft from Russia please? THey can’t afford to manufacture them, and we can. We can’t seem to design anything worth flying, and they can.
I mean. Kinda hard to beat the Abrams. But in general, you want Russian Arms and equipment whenever possible. Cheap and abundant, and free of bureaucratic meddling. The military is not a democratic thing. It never should be. And the last people that should be involved in it are congressmen.

I have come to understand this:
That Aristocracy imposes liberty by arms and law, and libertarianism begs for it like priestly cast, through gossip and shaming.
I consider Aristocratic Liberty logically and evidentially possible, and beggar-liberty logically and evidentially possible.
For this reason I consider the libertarian program an artifact of christianity, argued morally, reasonably, and sometimes rationally, but not empirically or scientifically.
And I consider Aristocratic program an artifact of pagan history, argued practically, logically, and scientifically, under truth, physical law, natural law, the common law, with universal standing, universal applicability (rule of law), and universal WARRANTY: every man a warrior, sheriff, judge, and legislator.
It was the absence of the necessary property of Warranty that let us fail. Without warranty (Taleb’s skin in the game), there is no contract for liberty.
And without that contract, no liberty can be brought into existence.
Whether we beg of it from gods, or we beg of it from men, if we beg, we are beggars. We cannot possess liberty by permission. We can only possess liberty if none can possibly take it from us. And none can possibly take it from us if we are too strong to resist them.
The beggardly-libertarian movement is dead. The Aristocratic Liberty is the only liberty ever possible, and the only that will ever be possible.
Warranty: Everyone fights. No one quits.

Time again. I don’t do racism. As far as I know the substantive differences between the races are the result of differences in the rate of reproduction of the classes.
My concern is why *my* people fail to defend themselves from pseudoscience, pseudo-rationalism, propaganda and lying out of deep seated sense of wishful thinking.
I do not advocate diversity. I advocate homogeneity, nationalism, higher tribalism, and paternalism, so that we all may raise our families, clans, tribes, and races into ever increasing excellence.
If a man will take the oath with me than he is my brother. And I will fight for liberty of all men in all tribes as long as they will do the same for me.

In my mind, that master mechanic is Curt Doolittle. And that car is our very lives in these tumultous times. And it’s obvious plenty of people are rightly dissatisfied, disenfranchised, and out shopping for what’s better. Or at least to correctly understand why things are disfunctional.

It’s troubling instead that we are experiencing the deterministic consequences 100 years of innumerate policy and 50 years of pseudoscientific and contra rational policy — and we’re just larger and wealthier, with no regional competitors, so the deterministic outcome took longer to play out.
So if the choice is between your assessment of oddity or my assessment of predictability, the explanatory power of my rather parsimonious suspicion seems like a far better truth candidate. 😉
You weren’t there in 1980 when we planned to try this. I was. It is strange
that immigration was the tipping point rather than state bankruptcy. But this
event will do. 😉
We will have our revolution one way or another. We just need the excuse
on one hand and a viable alternative on the other.
I am nearly done with the latter. 🙂
