Never ceases to amaze me how the room temperature IQ crowd raspberries at concepts that they are too ignorant to grasp yet are so easily drawn in by pseudoscience, ratio-babble, and psychobabble.

Then I realise that males are as stupid as females when it comes to being fooled by appealing nonsense arguments. And that all that differs between idiot feminism and idiot libertarianism is the flavour of the carrot and the material of the stick.

Women want to be free of exclusion and men want to be free of the admission of powerlessness. Both seek to be free of the obviousness of their dependence upon their betters.

So women and men seek comforting lies to help them grasp at the frail straw of self confidence.

Libertinism or feminism the result is the same: seeking excuse for reproductive undesirability.

RESPONSE TO TOM WOODS SPEECH TO LIBERTARIANS.

I love you Tom, but we have two over invested generations alive today grasping at the straws of the hippie generation promise of libertarian communes.

But Liberty and sovereignty have only been constructed and only can be constructed by the organised use of violence to prohibit the alternatives.

Wishful thinking will die with the generation of over invested wishful thinkers – buried by the empirical evidence that Liberty, personal responsibility under Liberty, and the costly use of violence to obtain and hold that Liberty, is the desire of but a few.

And so called libertarians may desire Liberty, may willingly carry the individual responsibility, but when it comes to paying the high cost of using violence to obtain and hold Liberty, they run away from that cost as rapidly as socialist run away from individual responsibility.

So I see no difference between wishful thinking by socialists on the economy and personal responsibility, and wishful thinking by so called libertarians on the government and the high cost of violence needed to secure Liberty.

Both are acts of fraud using moral pretence to attempt to excuse the payment of a cost necessary to obtain their desires.

Fraud is fraud no matter what moral pretence it is wrapped in

That socialist will fight, but not compete in the market. The libertarian will compete in the market but not fight.

The conservative will both fight and compete in the market and bear the cost of norms and laws that place the inter generational family ahead of the temporal individual.

As far as I can see conservatives are the only people willing to pay the cost of Liberty: normative, economic and military.

    Everyone else is a fraud.

  • Worth repeating. My position in Russia and Russians fills a volume at this point

    Worth repeating.

My position in Russia and Russians fills a volume at this point. But for sake of newbies I’ll repeat it.

Russian leadership is correct in preventing the expansion of western neoliberalism.

My criticisms of the leadership were driven by the use of deception to invade Ukraine, and the adoption of intentional disinformation strategy. Because this division was unnecessary given that Ukraine would have traded territory for discounts in energy suce the dinbas was the source of much of our politics conflict and organised crime.

And my position was the unification of German finance and technology with Russian resources and labor would produce a common interest that would allow the USA to complete its withdrawal from Europe.

So my view is that in a fit of conspiratorial panic, Putin blinked and screwed the Russian people out of immediate prosperity, Americans out of exiting empire, and Europe out of salvation from cultural disintegration.

I view Putin’s failure as the equivalent of the Assassination of duke Archibald – a catastrophic error that set off horrid chains of events.

I think America if not all Anglo civilisation has been a disaster for the modern world since the 1850s. Everything Anglos have done has been wrong. Idealistic. Utopian. Profiteering under moral pretence.

    A total disaster.

But that does not mean the Russian people appear capable of self government, creating an advanced economy, or even approaching rule of law. And they certainly shouldn’t be allowed to expand into Europe and cause even more harm to the Eastern Europeans who were terrorised and set back a century by soviet barbarism.

Nor should we tolerate Russian failure to come to terms with their barbaric history and the falsehoods it is constructed upon.

At this point in history we understand that Germany was always in the right and that Russia and the Anglosphere were in the wrong. And that German Ascent in support of her people was the best thing that could have happened to Europe.

That American neocons were too stupid to work hard at incorporating Russia into nato, and Russians (Putin) too stupid to provide a plan and educate these imbeciles is another coincidence of mutual idiocy that’s hard to grasp

Now at the present time, Putin has abandoned most of his absurd pollution of the informational commons and made positive internal moves taking advantage of nationalism.

And he persists the conflict in Ukraine despite it having turned Ukraine from split to entirely antagonistic to Russia. But weakness would hurt him and nationalism empowers him so he will force exhaustion to take its course.

Love this part of the world. I love Russian people and culture. But I dislike a world of deception between white people and I prefer we unify against the only threat we face in this world – Muslim invasions.

    1) The major opposition players (nationalists) are launching same services in response to mainstream(universalists)

    2) So what FB/T/G/MS will do by this is actually make a MARKET FOR NATIONALIST PLATFORMS.

    3) China and Russia started opposition tech for national reasons, but the writing is on the wall – it’s spreading.

    4) There is NOTHING in Twitter, FB, Google, MS tech that is not cheaply replicable, and only defended by US IP laws.

    5) So the more the ‘new church’ of commercial universalism tries to clamp down, the more the opposition is funded.

    6) There is nothing irrational about groupishness, tribalism or nationalism. Its universalism that’s the outlier.

    7) The smarter answer is to isolate groups not fund opposition groups by censorship.

Athens indeed gets the credit for what were often spartan victories. And that is because navies (hamiltonian ethics) are more rewarding than armies (jeffersonian ethics).

And that western europe (france, italy, and britan) had prosperous navies only because germany held the territories against invasion.

And that rome was prosperous as a naval and trading power that fought with marines, but failed as an army because the cost of holding land was too great.

So my position (like most of my positions) relies upon the observation that specialization produces better armies, navies, and prosperity. Just as american entrepreneurship, british banking and finance, italian arts, german engineering, and russian military produce specialties that no one could produce on its own.

I think the victorians represent the high point of NAVAL western civilization(Athens) while the Prussians represent the high point of MARTIAL western civilization (Sparta), and americans Represent the PRAGMATIC high point of western civilization (Rome).

I think the problem with Russia is that it never developed a middle class and it’s the middle class that morally organizes society into voluntary trusting orders.

Which is pretty common knowledge in economics.

Liberty starts with aristocracy but it is distributed as a mass consumption good by the middle classes. Why? Martial orders are involuntarily constructed by commands (warriors), commercial orders are voluntarily constructed by contracts(merchants), and social orders are competitively constructed from norms(priests/public intellectuals).

GRAMMAR IS TAUGHT AS JUSTIFICATION, NOT CRITICISM

But the problem of our era is the elimination of pseudoscience and deceit put forth by marxists, socialists, feminists, and postmodernists.

So there is no reason we cannot teach grammar as not just ‘the good manners of victorian expression’, but as ‘the art of preventing the pollution of the commons by those who would produce deceptions in vast numbers with ease.

WHAT DOES THE WORD ‘IS’ MEAN? (The “COPULA”)

” I promise the subject exists as the experience of… “

The cat is black = “I promise if you look at the cat it will appear to reflect the color black to you, or anyone else that observes it.”

WHY DO I CARE? WHY DO YOU CARE?

If you cannot make your argument without the word ‘is’ then you are almost surely engaging in fallacy. Almost every criticism I receive is constructed out of conveniently self-deceptive confirmation bias using justificationary phrasings.

    IS (EXISTS) REFERS TO:

    1) Exists (identity)

    3) Exists in this location or time (Space and Time)

    2) Exists with this or these properties (Properties)

    4) Exists with the properties of this class. (Categories)

We use the verb to-be for the same reason we give names to complex processes, and the same reason mathematicians call functions ‘numbers’: because it’s a verbal convenience that reduces our effort in organizing spoken words. ie:shortcuts.

    MISUSE

We tend to misuse the verb ‘is’ in order

    1) use the ‘verbal simplification’ of ‘is’ to obscure our lack of understanding of the subject matter – which if stated operationally would demonstrate our incompetence with the subject.

    2) to equate that which is not equal in order to justify a fallacy.

    3) conflate experience, action, and existence – which are three points of view. We do not conflate first, second and third person narration, so why would we conflate experience, action, and existence? We do so for a number of reasons not the least of which is to attribute to experiences the argumentative weight of actions or existence. In other words, to lie that an experience is a cost. (Although to women and beta males, untrained in mental discipline this solipsism seems to be a common defect they adhere to in order to preserve their illusions – almost always status related.)

    4) All of the above: to obscure our ignorance, to equate as equal that which is not, and to conflate experience action and existence in order to attribute cost to the experience of emotions.

THE DISCIPLINE OF GRAMMAR IS BEHIND THE TIMES

The very reference to ‘joining’ or ‘the copula’ is archaic. All human language consists of the construction of sets of analogies to experience by the transfer of properties by analogies.

***The verb to be functions as a promise of perceivable properties***

Sure, grammar is helpful for teachers of the young that wish to explain word order, and usage, but word order and usage are different from meaning. We would be far better off in teaching grammar, logic, and rhetoric by reducing our study of language to it’s constituent parts of communication: analogies to experience through the use of category(set) and property.

It may be helpful teach the young grammatical usage by repetition(as a craft), but when we come to logic and rhetoric (adult conversation), and in particular argument (the pursuit of truth) then we can also teach grammar as the branch of logic that it is: sets and properties. Meaning that colloquial, craftsmanly, and logical language evolve with our abilities just as ethics evolve from imitative, to virtuous, to rules, to outcomes. Just as mathematics evolves from arithmetic, to accounting, algebra, to geometry and trigonometry, to calculus, to statistics. Just as science evolves from that which is observable(human scale), that which exists up to the limits of human scale(Newtonian), to that which exists beyond human scale (relativity), to that which exists at super and sub scales (the missing theory of everything).

So try to make your argument without the word ‘is’. Look at the paragraphs above and observe how infrequently I use it, and that those few times I do, I use it as reference to existential properties.

But then, it is not those of us who wish to advance false ideas that wish to study this technique, but those of us who wish to police the commons against the multitude of pollutions created by the wishful thinking and outright deceit of well meaning fools, and ill meaning craftsmen.
