We coordinate our actions a little bit by clear deliberate choices.
But mostly we cooperate by many thousands of tie-breakers that we default to loose theories of the ‘good’: narratives.
In other words, religions provide means by which, in those many thousands of choices, where no choice is preferable to us, to prefer the choice that contributes to the advancement of the commons.
Otherwise like Bouridan’s Ass we must find some method of choosing.
This insight is profoundly important.
Think of religions as a wishing well into which we toss the spare change of choice.
But these choices reflect a group evolutionary strategy. And these strategies are not equal.

THE PURPOSE OF THE ELECTORAL COLLEGE – AND THE FUTURE IS THE END OF THE EMPIRE.
The purpose of the electoral college is to prevent immigrant and import/export cities that live in relative luxury at low cost of commons and opportunity, from imposing costs upon those lacking those luxuries in material, normative, and institutional means.
There are six large immigrant cities in America and these six cities benefit largely from the sale of the conquered continent to immigrants – and nothing more.
If not for the electoral college, those six cities would dictate to the continent, despite the fact that the majority of the continent does not possess those luxuries.
The only moral solution is to end the international and continental empire so that each group can preserve its preferred norms and institutions. So that each of us possesses our right to self-determination.
conversely, if you deny others their right to self-determination, then you are in fact, conducting war against others.
The only solution is secession and devolution.
And that is what will happen. As strange as it might seem today.

men. we form an army. but not an army of clones. some of us are warriors, some soldiers, some engineers, some communications, some logistics, some intelligence. we must not aspire to sameness, but to our perfection of at least one specialization. because we need only fulfill our role, and to do our duty within that role, so that the legion is stronger than its individual members.
