    The Red Queen Hypothesis in the Natural History of Human Kind: competing human groups seeking to profit via the production of asymmetries in information and violence

    Thusly, from an evolutionary perspective, we see the development of human institutions as an evolutionary arm-race between competing, and co-evolving human social groups. However, the co-evolution has been asymmetrical due to differing geographies, historical particularities (path-dependent pressures), and class distributions leading to differential investments in institutional portfolios or what we call group-evolutionary strategies.

    Propertarianism seeks to solve the problem of history (the evolutionary-arms race in seeking profit through asymmetrical violence and information) through the moral application of organized violence and testimony, prohibiting theft, fraud, parasitism and predation, leaving man no choice but meritocratic competition in markets for association, reproduction, production, (moral) violence and (warrantied) information.

    That is, in more general terms, propertarians seek the transcendence of man through the incremental suppression of parasitism and predation in all social domains.

    Roughly speaking we spend 10K per student per year, which varies from a low of 7k in Utah to a high of 20k in NY, plus an additional 2k per student at the federal level’s department of education. I don’t know the state overhead numbers.

    As far as I can tell there is zero value provided by every single individual above the practicing teacher. As far as I can tell the entire academic establishment teaches pseudoscience in order to justify greater expenditures and higher salaries – since teaching is a pretty simple interpersonal craft more dependent upon the individual teacher’s character and abilities than any particular methodology. Teaching no subject is difficult if taught in the context of the historical narrative, and applied through repetition with natural language.

    My suggestion would be to do away with all administration in the country entirely, require teachers to form sub-s corporations holding any physical plant (school) as an asset, and require each of them to carry insurance-of-performance like lawyers and accountants, series seven holders, and bonded professionals.

    Deliver purchasing power parity vouchers to each student depending upon his region. Allow students and parents to shop for schools and entrepreneurs to form new ones.

    This will drive students into schools that offer different teaching environments for different temperaments and in combination will restore normative behavior to the population and commons.

    An homogenous germanic protestant middle class population is far different from a diverse population from different gene pools that mature at different rates to different depths. Humans do not ‘grow’ a the same rate in all senses. Nor are we endowed with equal abilities and challenges. And each must be taught as his biology allows.

    CURRICULUM

    There is no evidence that education of more than two to three hours a day produces any value whatsoever. There is substantial evidence that education produces infantilization and ignorance. And that a few hours a day in the late morning, and then continuous exposure to life, family, friends, commons, business and industry provides higher returns in maturity and abilities. Returning children to the labor force is more important than adding mothers to it.

    It’s easiest to describe as an analogy to the coins-and-scale problem of finding the oddly weighted coin.

    Most people do not consider that there are there conditions: the left side, the right side, and the table in front of the scale.

    So when someone says ‘intersubjectively’ anything I’m never sure if they are referring to imaginary (two sides of the scale), or correspondent (two sides of subjective value plus the objective reality they are both testing against.

    So while the utility may possess subjective value, correspondence is still simply true or false.

    It may be true that we only care about useful truths in the positive sense.

    But we also care about intersubjectively erroneous judgements which we resolve by objective truth.

    This is why I always ask for both sides of the question, instead of the ideal type of utility (seizure of opportunities).

    Truth and falsehood may help us get what we want: to cooperate.

    Truth allows us to decide conflicts: non-cooperation.

    Since the central problem of our age is DISPUTE, I am not looking for consensus by preference or utility but for means of resolving these disputes regardless of intersubjective valuations.

    So it’s not that I don’t understand. It’s that I understand the full accounting of the question, rather than just the partial accounting of utility in matters of cooperation.
