“all my friends are heathens”
Yeah, um, you mean, we love all our gods? yeah. I love them all.
But gods require feeding.
We have souls to deliver.

For those of us who can, to call upon our gods, before we loose our wrath, is to name the sacrifice we deliver unto them on behalf of our people – whether it be the souls of those we kill, or our own. We shout to the universe that the sacrifices we lay before us, are those that have purpose greater than us. And thus such sacrifice is worthy and not wasteful of the gifts our gods have prepared for us. We speak with passion and poetry, but unlike mere talkers, at great cost.

REPORTER’S PRIMARY TRICK
Force someone to reduce a complex set of ideas to a sound bite, then develop a straw man criticism of the sound bit that will attract attention by violating the moral intuitions of as many people as possible.
Remember, the press is always lying. They are all the product of the Culture of Critique and Critical Theory, not the product of western Natural Law and truthful testimony. They are gossips for profit, not jurors.
THE TRUMP / NEGOTIATOR TRICK
Give moral answers, general ‘goals’, and sew uncertainty as to details, so that the other side comes to the table having prepared for a multitude of eventualities, that make it costly and time consuming to obtain agreement upon.
Feign preference for any of a set of ideas, meanwhile simply listing a priority of available terms that you are willing to accept.
Bring an ultimate decider into the room, and then leave the other side scrambling to develop consensus, as you wear them down.
Strike a deal, and when they come back to the table for more accuse them of bad faith, unethical conduct, incompetence, and disorganization.
State your position as take it or leave it because the other side is not serious. Meanwhile keep leaking to the imbecilic press and whomever else is engaged in gossip for a living, that the other side is incompetent and dishonest.
Walk away, say what you left on the table, and do what you left on the table that is in your interest.

THIS IS WHAT I MEAN
—“Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said he hoped the world “will choose a democratic world order — a post-West one — in which each country is defined by its sovereignty.””—
OMG. How can people like Lavrov open their mouths like that? You mean, like UKRAINE’S sovereignty? Like every country russia has threatened in the past three years with loss of sovereignty?
I mean, we have profoundly stupid ordinary people in positions of political power. That’s the curse of america. But Lavrov isn’t a profoundly stupid person. He’s just a liar.
What he means is, that Russia wants out of the postwar treaty on Human Rights. (property rights).
Which means RUSSIA WANTS OUT ON NATURAL LAW.

DIRECT ECONOMIC (EMPIRICAL) DEMOCRACY
If we are to use representatives at all, they should be chosen by lot for a single year, and held accountable for their actions by rule of law.
As far as I can tell, direct economic democracy either by proportion or by equal share, where one’s votes may NOT be proxied, will produce (a) the most educated and aware population, and (b) the least corrupt government, as long as (c) all statements must be ‘scientifically’ truthful by the terms i’ve defined elsewhere.
The dominance of single houses independent of classes the dominance of parties, the use of representatives, and the cheapness of lobbying representatives rather than the voters, are all malincentives.

YES WE CAN RESTORE WESTERN CIVILIZATION – EASILY
—“It appears that a golden bullet would be to reduce the value of [false] advertising, and this ineffectiveness would lead to the media industry being starved of revenue. Any suggestions on how this could be achieved?”—- Julian le Roux
GREAT QUESTION!!!! YES!
EASILY:
(a) require testimonial truth in all public speech.
(b) rescind copyright protection, replacing it with creative commons protection. (you may not profit from it at civic expense, and then neither may anyone else.). This reduces copyright to a trademark and therefore fraud issue rather than a license for unnecessary and perversive rents.
Honestly, it’s that simple. We would crush the entertainment, advertising, media, propaganda, public intellectual, political in 120 days. That is all the cash flow that they have to survive with. Even the threat of it would wipe out the industry.
As we have seen with book authorship, artistic authorship, and even independent cinema, the creative works would continue to be produced no matter what. There is no reason to subsidize them if by doing so we subsidize the production of critique (propaganda).
The impact on civilization – reversing the economic incentives and economic possibility of engaging in the industrialization of lying, would vanish.
If intellectuals professors, advertisers and marketers, industry and politicians, media and artists must warranty their works as truthful, then the size, scale, and composition of the information system will return to that which is possible and rewarding: truthful.
We have built a civilization funded by lying just as much as we built the internet funded by pornography.
WE MADE IT POSSIBLE BY A GRATUITOUS VIOLATION OF NATURAL LAW. WE CAN UNMAKE THE POSSIBILITY BUT RESTORING NATURAL LAW.

All of the world’s canons include wisdom, and within that wisdom are statements that are useful and will achieve proposed ends – at least loosely.
But few of the worlds statements of wisdom are stated in deflationary truth, and the vast majority are stated with conflationary falsehoods.
There are some words of wisdom that are stated truthfully, but not all statements of wisdom are stated either truthfully, nor are they true, and some are harmful, and some are outright lies.

Wisdom differs from truth in that wisdom achieves by analogy and conflation, that which truth achieves by operational description and deflation. It is the difference between storytelling and engineering. Between parable and science.

THE GREATEST STORY EVER TOLD
(from elsewhere)
JERUSALEM
Jesus gave us the strategy of disciplined love where the buddha have us the strategy of disciplined withdrawal, and the stoics gave us the strategy of disciplined action. Yet jerusalem gave us the great lie to tell it with, stoics, virtue to tell it with, and buddha, mysticism to tell it with. Of them the stoic is the least false – even if ALL THREE STRATEGIES WORK, and all three produce unintended consequences. There is an argument to be made that political christian love for the forgivable, interpersonal buddhist withdrawal from the unchangable, and personal stoic action for the actionabe, can be PRACTICED TOGETHER for optimum benefit depending upon the circumstances.
ATHENS
Athens gave us reason, deflationary truth, most of the categories of knowledge, the beginnings of science, the stoic law that made use of it. But they gave us the myth of democracy, platonism as a refinement of superstition, and while solving the problem of politics and law, failed to solve the problems of ethics and cooperation (using virtue), and distracted us forever because of it.
ROME
The romans, eternally frustrated by the deceitful arguments of the greeks (the kind we attribute to Jews today, and that I attribute to philosophers and pseudoscientists in general), adopted practical stoic law, and in doing so largely completed the greek project of the science of rule.
LONDON
London gave us further deflation of truth via empiricism, civic contractualism, and ‘perfect government’ in houses for classes, and an almost entirely judicial monarchy. Philadelphia, while still an outpost of London, further refined contractualism by reducing for the first time, a single document by which sovereignty, natural law, and multiple houses of government, could be conducted by a people. But americans destroyed that document within a century out of territorial greed, competed to evolve into an empire just like all other european states, and at the hight of the battle of empires, chose the wrong partner (Britain) instead of Germany, and destroyed western civilization. Then in the postwar period gave protection to the marxists who then spent the rest of the twentieth century completing the job of undermining science, deflationary truth, contractualism, rule of law, perfect, government, and the heroic aesthetic.
Meanwhile, in Berlin, the greater Germany, the second scientific and cultural revolution was in process, that would have brought the 3500 year old european project to fruition, and it was cut short by conspiracy between Britain, France and Russia, all of whom carried their own deceits to market.
THE STORY
This story also is imperfect, but in a few paragraphs we can capture most of history and reduce it to the search for truth, goodness, and beauty, and the limits to truth, goodness, and beauty that are achievable in any civilization, when we permit other than truth, goodness(reciprocity), and beauty, to serve as our final terms of decidability.
