Belyaev Experiment. The fox breeding experiment is probably the most important addition to evolutionary knowledge of the past century. Not to diminish genetics. But the fact that we can turn a fox into a dog that quickly by selecting for one simple, easily demonstrable trait, and that the cascade effects are identical to those in human domestication, as well as the domestication of all other farm animals, puts an end to the all sorts of pretense about rates of evolution, and dependence upon mutation and adaptation. Instead, we preserve, in our genetic records, multiple potentials that we can express in response to local need. We can select for rates of maturity or the reverse. And by doing so produce the variation in the races. It turns out that civilization requires we select for the very same trait we select for in foxes and wolves. We produce neoteny and its various consequences. Because all our endocrine and cerebro-chemical functions are interdependent.

—“Who wants to pay taxes for retired city workers when they don’t provide any services?”—
This is the universal problem of temporal redistribution (socialism) vs intertemporal redistribution (saving and borrowing).

(no dipshit-negative comments pls)
Alexander is a dear friend of mine. And I post this here despite that the usual racists may comment, because it is how I wish all of us thought about our nations. How can we act to better ourselves? All people can transcend. But it is not through religion, not through government, and not through authority, but civic action.
What does it take to make men like this who will act, rather than men that pray to mosque or church or state?
All nations can transcend. And there is no problem of conflict when we help each other do that.

When the foreigners ( Europeans ) noticed we had or have huge problems and made or make accurate remarks about us that sounded derogatory, or when they do now, we say they are racist. But seriously, why is it that we, on a very rich land, remain poor, ignorant, and largely incapable of managing our disease burden?
We troop to foreign lands and seek not to come back. We parasitise and beg foreigners for money, and we claim we are not backwards, primitive, and yet to transcend?
When asked, we rationalise that the white man enslaved and weakened us. And so what?
I am saying that the white people did not get here through shirking of responsibility, being led by their inferior IQs, and being wastefully religious instead of taking action to solve problems. In Ghana, we focus on church and mosques through azaa prophets and mallams at the expense of THINKING and action to solve. We hate problem solving as we pray increasingly and unceasingly while creating more problems than already exist. Who does that?
I don’t even get it sometimes.

1) Any national militia, with distributed econ. production, under the common law of torts, w/ independent judiciary, will produce ‘liberty’.
2) The discourse on liberty is byproduct of religion (belief), whereas all existential liberty is byproduct of rule of natural common law.
3) The challenge for liberty is scale since production of multiplicative competitive commons is the penultimate competitive advantage.
4) The mistake in english parliament was majority discretionary assent, vs minority legal dissent – overriding common law. (We can fix this)
5) Ergo the problem of the production of commons under the preservation of liberty can be solved.
6) But Rothbardianism is merely Marxism for the middle class (jewish separatism) in an attempt to justify parasitism on others’ commons.

I identify with Hayek. When I read him I hear myself. His temperament. Opinion. Even the tempo of his prose. Although I am less organized (or rather less professionally disciplined). And I have taken on a public persona more suited to our time and my mission. After hayek, certainly Machiavelli, and a now and then Hume. I suspect if Aristotle’s work survived intact, I might find familiarity there, but too far apart in frame of reference. Modern translation obscures the difference between the greeks we would find alien. We are children of the pragmatism of rome atop our germanic intuitions and traditions, atop our aryan genes and instincts.

THAT THING WE CALL CONSCIOUSNESS
(important)
The conscious mind (system 2: directed search[reasoning] ) rides on the elephant of intuition (system 1: intuitionistic search), which is informed by our desire to acquire, inventory, and defend, for which we obtain rewards and punishments (emotions), which are biased by our reproductive strategy(gender distributions), which is biased by our genes(variations we call personality).
Consciousness is the consequence of layers of very short term memory interacting with the results produced by continuous iterative searches of longer term memory, producing a continuous short term memory of change in state on the order of half of a second (sampling rate) to three seconds (persistence[echo]).
At least in theory, it appears that increases in brain volume (and cortical layers) could continue to expand but we are limited by the ability of females to carry and birth us while still preserving the ability to run, and limited by the rate of information transfer. Ergo we could evolve far larger brains at the cost of higher energy consumption (brains are expensive organs).
While social populations distribute SENSORY labor, instead of getting larger and larger brains evolution *suggests* that we developed language and thereby distributed COGNITIVE labor allowing for smaller less expensive brains.
Genders specialize in certain biases, and it is through cooperation and non cooperation (that is far more valuable in productivity than non-cooperation) we ‘calculate’ the evolutionary (survival) value of our biased perceptions and ‘program’ one another to perform for (mostly) common good.
So we divide perception, cognition, knowledge, labor, negotiation, and advocacy, in a network which we call ‘social order’ of different scales: friends, families, clans, tribes, nations.
And we develop formal institutions and methods of recording and measurement to assist us.
But in the end, we act on behalf of our genes. I often reduce us to acquisition-machines. All the ’emotions’ and ‘phenomenon’ are just consequences (byproducts) of the necessity to train a memory to acquire using a limited number of chemical rewards and punishments, in a network of individuals using similar information.
It’s actually all rather simple. The only complicated bit is that amazing thing we call the cortex, and its seven layers of cells that combine stimuli into categories which due to the necessity of planning actions, and then necessity of serializing the extraordinary volume of information we process into a sequence of symbols for the purpose of communication.
So between parallelization (searching) on one hand, and planning, and having to communicate on the other hand we produce ‘order’ from a continuous stream of memory of changes in state, into continuous streams of plans and language.
It’s quite elegant really.

WORST CITIES:
Connecticut has some of america’s worst cities: Hartford, Windham, Derby, Danbury, Meriden, New Britain, New Haven, Bridgeport, Hartford, New London, Waterbury, Willimantic.
WHY WORST CITIES:
Rust belt (manual labor) population without major academic, scientific, and financial sector.
WHY IS CT POOR:
“White Flight”, “Pensions”, “Taxes”, “General hostility to business.”
WHY?
All economics is demographics. Every member of the lower class is six times as costly as every member of the middle class is productive.

—“Women as a group are systemically discriminated against – both openly and subconsciously – and their lives are poorer for it.”—
Women display unconscious bias. Men display unconscious bias. Women display personality trait biases. Mental illness biases. Aesthetic biases. Temporal value biases. Friendship biases. Lower tolerance for diversity in friends. Lower loyalty in business. higher likelihood of being an undesirable manager. More likely to undermine other women in business. As likely as men in sociopathy. Far higher rates of mental illness. Women disapprove of far more than men disapprove of in every walk of life. Women display an array of cognitive biases, and we might venture that the entire world is worse for it. Women display voting biases consistently differently from men. Are not men systematically discriminated against? In what walks of life are men not systematically discriminated against by women? How long does it take to trust someone? How long for a man to trust a man, a man to trust a woman, a woman to trust a woman, and a woman to trust a man? Why are those rates different?
How about this: we worry about whether things are TRUE and then fix what is wrong with people, rather than pretend that stereotypes are not the most accurate reprsentation of behavioral data on earth?
True is true is true is true.
