    Metaphysics, Ethics, Politics, Group Evolutionary Strategy.

    The first question of philosophy is “Why do I not commit suicide?”, followed by the second question of philosophy “Why do I not kill you and take your things?”, followed by the third question of philosophy, “Why do I and mine not kill or enslave you and yours and take your things, your women, your land, for our own?”, followed by the fourth question of philosophy “Why do I and mine seek other than sovereignty, and consequently, agency, when there is no more advantageous negotiating position?” These four questions answer the four philosophical categories of Metaphysics, Ethics, Politics, and Group Evolutionary Strategy. Every other line of philosophical reasoning must start from false premises justifying the lack of sovereignty and agency. Once you face these question with intellectual honesty, you will be cured of the lies of Abrahamism.

    Anyway,

    1) personality traits evolved as an intersection between gender strategy and prey drive. The prey drive consists of five physical systems. These systems are altered by gender and neotonic selection (success at extending immaturity).

    2) The personality traits which most influence lifetime success are intelligence, industriousness, and conscientiousness.

    3) Intelligence is categorizable a personality trait, appears to be the most important trait, appears to be largely a function of neoteny, size, and verbal ability.

    4) It’s controversial but I’ve talked to Lynn about it, and he’s adamant that we’ve lost 15pts of aggregate IQ in the past century, even if we’ve seen flynn effects from (a) ending developmental nutrition problems, and (b) the power of training in general (scientific) rules vs specific case rules. World IQ is dropping precipitously.

    5) the most important feature that determines the standard of living (and political stabiity) of a polity is IQ.

    I would like to see the academy drop political ‘science’, sociology, philosophy, literature, history, and anything else that does not have a method of testing internal consistency and external correspondence by some sort of calculation whether quantitative, or algorithmic, or by triangulation. Including a ban on the use of students for any form of study whatsoever, and any behavioral test of less than 1000 people. In other words, if you can’t raise enough money to produce a self-falsifying study then you need to find another career.

    Anything we value, we value within limits. Anything we claim to value within any limits has proven to be demonstrably false by our demonstrated preference. All self reporting is false – that’s why psychology has tried to desperately reform, and why sociology is the laughing stock discipline: because it is purely pseudoscientific. As such we’re seeing cognitive science, economics, and law displace sociology just as the sciences displaced theology and philosophy.

    – First draft back from editor who selected the articles.

    – Now, formatting and fixing some grammar issues.

    – Noticing some things are missing (esp “Signaling”).

    – Some minor organization issues.

    – Some definitions.

    Otherwise it’s looking very good.

    So basically, yes, you are going to get a “short” book this year.

    And you will get the “long” book as soon as we raise enough money to hire additional editors to select the ‘readings’.

    So in my perspective Religion is an anti market education system and taught cheaply to people who do not have market influences to shape their ethics, and Education as we understand it evolved to Transition people into market ethics so that they would succeed and understand market ethics (meritocracy), and how they differ from subsistence ethics (equality). And that this separation was rational given that it is very cheap to teach people by lying and allegory and equality, and it is more expensive to teach people by history and calculation, and meritocracy.

    The problem being that none of us are subsistence farmers, and all of us live in the market and have no other choice any longer to return to the fields. The territorial value of the individually farmable earth was maximized long ago.

    So as far as I understand it religion is just a cheap way to enslave people by teaching them sufficient information to survive as agrarians and pastoralists but not enough information, nor the right information, to survive in a market society where we cannot judge our actions by whether they are equal to that of others, but by whether they facilitate exchange with others to whom we are increasingly and eternally unequal.
