( diary: health update. I seem to have sympathetic emotions again – yes you can lose them, really. So still making progress. Thinking the rest is exercise. Maybe I can increase my stamina a bit. Still finding my work going slowly. Great progress then frustration. Book has begun to feel disjointed but right. Think I am going to continue to be periodically be frustrated until I finish the operational grammar and explain its use. Solving the universal grammar wasn’t really that hard. Hopefully some researchers will find a way to measure it. Not my job so to speak. Having fun listening to Searle this morning. But even he is still stuck on the math thing. Russell wasn’t stuck he just didn’t know the alternative. But at least he understood the problem. In retrospect it’s so freaking obvious. The luxury of hindsight.

The reason is complicated, but boils down to warrantability. In the 30mm “short”, medium velocity grenade above, it’s basically an explosive round for breeching. (Or taking out Aliens.)Sep 24, 2017 11:00amMartin JamesDo propertarian believe in E.T. life ?Sep 24, 2017 11:03amCurt DoolittleAbout the same as a SW500 Magnum plus the weight of the grenade.Sep 24, 2017 11:09amCurt DoolittlePropertarians don’t believe anything. Propertarians simply cannot falsify extra terrestrial life.
Propertarianism is simply the scientific method. It’s not like libertarianism or communism. It’s just the scientific method applied to everything.
That application results in markets in everything, but total personal accountability. That personal accountability serves to select for those who possess agency (over themselves as well as their environment). So propertarianism suggests policies that produce transcendence (Evolution).Sep 24, 2017 11:15amCurt Doolittle(humor) But that’s the wrong question. The question is, how heavy does it need to be to stop terminators and aliens? Le Mat Revolver (Man in Black) > Dirty Harry Gun > Blade Runner Gun > These ‘two barrelled things’.
Basically the idea of a safari-pistol, with either grapeshot (shotgun) or slug, or grenade seems to be something we subconsciously desire.

Soldiers and hunters want everything light as a feather.
Having carried a heavy barrel sniper rifle and tripod, and pack through forest field and stream, and having carried a bunch of granola bars, and a Naked AR15 carbine …. I would strip down even further to a tc contender, a bowie knife, and more granola bars and water if I was to hunt (other than people) again. (Thankfully at the rate my health is improving that looks like a possibility).
I’m kinda fond of the FN57 and the P90 because that round 5.7×28 is about perfect against people. But in a civil war where we are mostly dealing with stealth, I prefer fire(molotovs), explosives(granades), and weapons(.50) that hit hard on heavy equipment (electronics, transformers, pipes, engine blocks).Sep 24, 2017 9:12pmCurt DoolittleWell, there is that. lol, but these guns are for when you need one or two shots, to drop a Water Buffalo, a Terminator, those Arachnids from Starship Troopers, or those telepathic things from Independence day. Or god forbid those tentacle things from Arrival. ;)Sep 24, 2017 9:21pmLuke MathiasGood in isolation/last resort. REQUEST FOR DONATIONS TO COVER COSTS OF VIDEO PRODUCTION OF OUR ROUNDTABLE
LINK: https://www.patreon.com/propertarianism
Most of you know that we’re producing a video of a Roundtable with me, Duchesne, Macdonald, Sunic, and Jorjani on the subject of “Circumventing Postmodernism and the Frankfurt School”.
This video is about three hours of content that we will edit down. It is our first domestically (USA) produced content. Usually we produce our work overseas (where it’s vastly cheaper)
For a variety of reasons, we have run over budget by quite a bit. You may or may not know that Megan serves as the organizational leadership of the Institute, (my boss really).
And she has asked me to ask for donations to the Patreon account in order to cover our overages (about 3K).
Every little bit matters. Please contribute if you can.
Thanks to all of you for everything you do.

The universe operates on very simple rules, but does a great deal with those very simple rules. Humans, as part of that universe, operate on very simple rules, but we do a great deal with those very simple rules. There is nothing incomprehensible. It’s just eliminating all the ignorance, error, bias, wishful thinking, suggestion, obscurantism, fictionalism, and deceit, that we are either born with or accumulate.
Was language invented to lie? Language was clearly not invented to tell the truth or it wouldn’t be nearly impossible for us to do so without so much effort. Instead, language merely evolved and like violence can be put to moral or immoral use.

I see way too many murder by cop that’s the result of (a) one officer instead of three, (b) failure to de-escalate, (c) overemphasis on the use of weapons instead of desescalation.
The end result is too much equipment, the wrong kind of training, and too many benefits, and not enough personnel per car.
This is the result of attempting to be economically efficient because of the high cost of labor. Which is nuts. Since it’s not exactly like there is a shortage of people willing to join the force, particularly if their job is to carry nothing other than pepper spray, tasers, handcuffs, in support of a single armed officer per car.
There is absolutely no reason for the urgency used to bring people into submission. None.
Thats all a consequence of failing to use numbers and de escalation, instead of concentrating violence in a single individual.
