ie: sexes differ little in task performance, but diverge as abstractness increases. Example being that as choices increase we favor pursuit of sexual stereotypes rather than converge, reversing pseudoscientific predictions of merging.

For example, as in the well-known example of domestication of foxes, just selecting for testosterone levels (one change) will produce domestication. In humans it’s the same basic developmental difference: 1) neoteny and 2) selection pressure: class size.

It takes advantage of human ignorance of the size and functional composition of our genes, few of which are declarative and most of which are regulatory. In other words, tiny variation = huge effect.
