I just have these days where I can’t take it.
Unfortunately, there isn’t any alternative to social media if I want to maintain a sense of the temperature of the population. And sometimes I get overwhelmed by the smell.

IMPORTANT TAKE:
This survey measures what different people from different countries ‘Take For Granted’. It’s another example of what is unsaid is more important than what is said.

Method and process debates in programming are repeated by every 1/3 generation of programmers who think they are covering new territory. Seriously. Programming clown world is as bad as political clown word.

It takes a tiny percentage, less than three, and at present less than one, to start a civil war. It is what it is. When a government has lost legitimacy, there is a surplus of single young men, an economic decline, and a strategic shift in trade routes and power, that’s the end.

In other words, the sticky prices problem should be reframed as human behavior is sticky since we avoid adaptation at all costs.

@DanSWright @phl43 No. Classicals were wrong because cooperative networks dont equilibrate as predicted, they exhaust and overextend because the cost of reorganization isn’t something they’ll pay until they have to – b/c humans in organizations maximize rents.

Menger starts in the ’50’s. Marx Capital vol 1 in ’67, Menger Principles in ’71, Marx Death in ’83. He abandoned completing the project sometime after 67, but I (we?) don’t know when he first read them (given his consumption of print, it’s hard to imagine he was behind the curve)
