    More development of the thesis that the Anglo nuclear family is central to economic prosperity. (In my view, central to the development of extra-familial trust.)

    I think their optimistic vision of the future is worth whatever any other silly person’s vision of the future is worth. Not much. History shows that economics and demographics determine outcomes and our economics and demographics are a serious problem. But their analysis of the nuclear family as the primary means of cultural indoctrination in the anglo model is quite good.

    I don’t like to participate in this debate much (Even though I’ve lost a couple of hundred thousand dollars investing in the climate scare.) I’d rather wait until I see the evidence. It bothered me that the INCENTIVES were problematic. It bothered me that it was used as a political tool. But being bothered isn’t evidence one way or another.

    But it’s pretty clear that while we’re putting chemistry into the atmosphere, that the sun, not us, is the primary determinant of climate. We’re heading into an ice age. And from that perspective, perhaps CO2 will help keep us warmer? 🙂

    Its in the economic incentive of the press to lie, underreport, overreport and mislead. The only way free press has any meaning is if you can’t charge money for your reporting. We don’t need the press. Boggers roll up ideas better than does the press, along multiple ideological lines. The press has lost it’s pulpit and that’s great. Because the pulpit sold marxism and proletarianism to the masses as a virtue. THe press made vice into virtue.

    Burn them at the stake? Well. Virtually maybe. 🙂

    Gary has been, through proxy, an investor in one of my companies. A smart man from seattle who we all admire. If you read this biography, or read his book, you’ll love him too.

    Unfortunately, the fellow that works for him, and is on our board, is a dishonest lying thief who has systematically stolen from our shareholders. It is a blatant constructed effort to create conditions whereby any profits are directed not to shareholders equally, but to him alone.

    And I think, now that we have some clear evidence, it’s about time I did something about it. I couldn’t do it while CEO. But I can do it now.

    But I think Brinson beat me to it. From what I’ve just learned, he’s been released from his position.

    That’s good. Now all I have to do is prevent him from ever getting another one.

    I met an orthodox priest (Decon?) a few months ago, walking down the street. Elderly. One cataract covered eye. Perfect english. And he had that magic that wise old priests used to have when they were our educated class.

    I wish the church had allowed marriage, and adopted to modernity by teaching all european history as moral lessons. But they took poverty as an intrinsic good, rather than as a necessary means of ensuring individual commitment to society which was during most of its history, poor.

    We left our church sure. But our church abandoned us in favor of developing nations.

    Now we have Academia, Totalitarian Humanism, Marxism. And the church is no longer our institutional opposition to the state. We no longer have an independent moral institutional framework to separate us from the judicial and military institutions.

    We destroyed that balance of power. Then the Feminists allied with the marxists and destroyed the family.

    Sad.

If they didn’t use Cyrillic they’d be indistinguishable from the rest of us. But that they are distinguishable probably helps them resist us.

    You don’t think that putting upper proletarians in charge of law enforcement is going to lead to people respecting legal rights do you? I mean, just TRY to find a policeman that actually knows the law, rather than what they can get away with in court. They know the latter. They practice the latter.

    We have a lot of highly paid upper proletarians on power tips running around doing what should be the work of elected and insured private individuals (sheriffs). These people are predators at the service of the state.

    They are constantly confused by rules versus harm. If there is no harm, there is no application of the rule.

    Why would you forbid someone access to a state park?

    What USES ram? For me, its browsers. I have a lot of them open.

    What BLEEDS ram? Flash, Word.

    What HEMORRHAGES ram? Any application written in Java. Unfortunately, a lot of our development tools are written in this digital equivalent of an Anticoagulant: ForeUI, Phpstorm, Mysql Workbench. Leaky, crashing, nonsense.

    Have I told you that I hate Java lately? I did? I forgot. So I must not be saying it enough if I can’t remember the last time I said it. I hate Java. There I just said it.

    On the other hand I love Javascript, Php, Python, C++, an ORM and MySQL.
