    The “gullible high trust white people” meme has legs.

    Why is it that we just love pseudoscience?

    Platonism is forgivable. And its curable. But gullibility? Why are white people so gullible?

    If I figure it out (and I will) there is something very valuable in there somewhere.

    I know its partly genetic. I know its partly institutional.

    Difficult Choices. The girls are out at the disco. You can feel a little spring in the air. And so it seems like people want to get out of the house. Me included.

    Seems like a good night to go sing a little Rolling Stones, and enjoy the city. Also seems like a good night to go to sleep with a glass of Singelton.

    I have to start working on modifying Ostrom’s work soon. I should be a good boy. But I feel like a little spring rock-and-roll. 😉

    I’m going to correct Hans a bit here by saying that human cooperation is the result of these properties:

    1) the differences in abilities among men.

    2) the geographical distribution of nature-given factors of production.

    3) the local structure of production: the division of knowledge and labor.

    4) the local structure of the family and inheritance rights.

    5) the distribution of property rights between the individual, family, group and the commons.

    6) the degree of suppression of, and intolerance for, free riding both in and out of family.

    7) calculative, cooperative technology available for economic signaling and coordination. (objective truth, numbers, money, prices, interest, writing, contract, and accounting).

    8) The use of formal institutions to perpetuate these constraints.

    9) The competition from groups with alternate structures of production, family, inheritance, property rights, free riding, cooperative technologies, and formal institutions.

    10) The recognition of these facts. (I question whether this last one is true.)

  • Praxeology Only Seems Confusing, Because Mises and Rothbard Got It Wrong

    The diagram below is complex because because praxeology and its contents are incorrectly categorized by Mises. And Rothbard made it worse by exacerbating the initial errors. 1) Philosophy Proper – the entire discipline – is required to describe the logic of human action. Philosophy, if articulated in operational language (the language of science) is the science of human action. 2) The missing logic within philosophy, is that of human COOPERATION. And that is the category addressed by praxeology and praxeological reasoning. 3) The different disciplines within praxeology are simply various means of calculating various relations. Just as law, math, engineering, are different means of calculation specific relations that are, without such systems of logic, beyond our rational capacity. 4) From this perspective, we can represent all praxeological action in a simple, expanding hierarchy. Mises tried. Rothbard tried. But they only grasped pieces of the puzzle. They were too influenced by the battle against the state, and so they framed the problem of human action and cooperation incorrectly.

    WHY ARE WHITE PEOPLE STUPID?

    Trust.

    Trust is actually in our genes.

    For a homogenous population that’s a good thing.

    In a diverse population, it’s genetically maladaptive.

    White people are willing to fall head over heels for every pseudoscientific nonsense that any one throws at them. Peter and Paul, Augustine, Rousseau, Kant, Marx, Freud, Cantor, and the whole lot of academic postmodernists.

    We have the high trust society because we are both less impulsive and more willing to trust than any other genetic group on earth. We even used to be smarter than the rest of them. But no longer.

    Stupid white people. Unfortunately, I love my people. Even if they are stupid. Gullible, trusting, victims of every empty verbalistic pseudoscience anyone comes up with.

  • Labor Is Meaningless – Consumers Are Not

      Obvious but interesting, is that marxist labor theory of value, and even their supposed social value of ‘labor’ are both in fact valueless and non-logical. But the presence of a ‘consumer’ is not. It’s not that business value labor. It’s that business and capitalists need CUSTOMERS in order to organize production. The challenge in expanding any economy, and in the satisfaction of consumer wants, is not production – it is voluntarily organization production for the satisfaction of demonstrated consumer wants. Money supplies us with information that represents the accumulated savings of time, created by the division of knowledge and labor. I know this is pretty obvious (and incomplete as an argument) but I still am amazed at how the marxist zombie simply continues to walk the face of the earth.
