Religion is still the most effective resistance movement ever created. It sets the terms by which the population will agree to be governed. No way around it. Now, we could just as easily create truth and rule of law as a religious movement. But that would take some doing.

I follow the Sartorialist – but I am always annoyed by the fact that his sense of fashion is proletarian or lower middle class at best. New York men’s fashion is dominated by gay culture, and to some degree, so is San Francisco. LA fashion is pure proletarian. So for men we must look to London, Milan, and Berlin.
I’m pretty vain, but the competition in London is amazing. So many good looking men. So many well dressed men. I am perfectly happy to move down in the rankings just to be around them myself. lol. Milan is something else. Creative. London is quality.
The West coast affected me forever. I’ll never wear a suit for anything other than a wedding or funeral, or a tux for events. So I’ll stick with a mix of san-francisco casual, with london details.

I am far more interested in being a manufacturer of intellectual arms, than fighting with them myself. If you want arms, I have them. if you don’t, then I don’t really need to sell them to you. It’s not worth my time. There are plenty of people who want an arms dealer who specializes in intellectual weaponry. On the other hand I must test my products in the process of construction, otherwise I cannot warranty their fitness.

If you don’t claim economics isn’t an empirical science, and that praxeology isn’t a loose statement of operationalism, that apriorisitc reasoning produces apolitically certain premises, that rights ‘exist’ without a consensual contract, that the NAP is sufficient for the formation of a voluntary polity, or that rothbardian ethics are either objectively ethical, or capable of producing an anarchic polity, then that’s good enough for me.

(I am not anti-Russian. If anything, just the opposite. I had hoped to live there. Living in Moscow was an ambition. I find the company of Russians more comforting than nearly any other group – except maybe Ukrainians. I am just anti Russian-expansion of their low trust, highly corrupt society into areas that contain White Christians capable of evolving into a high trust society in the absence of Russian violence, corruption and nihilism. Ukraine was part of Poland and Austria-Hungary, not Russia. Russians are invaders and conquerors.)

THERE IS PLENTY OF ARISTOCRACY LEFT
There is plenty of aristocracy around left to repopulate senates, houses and thrones. First, even in all of the west, it’s a small number of people in total. Second, having a long (low) time preference isn’t rocket science either. It’s mostly genetics and family habits. Nobility – traditionalists and historians – are around if you look for them. The purpose of nobility is to judge – not lead. Leadership is for priests and public intellectuals. Nobility just limits the arena to commerce and construction of commons – not political power.
