5) 1/14 “Old New Year”
So basically, there is an excuse to party for a month.
Now the entrepreneur in me is horrified by the need to increase profitability and productivity for the year by 1/12th (8.5%), or to accept the 8.5% decrease in everything and all externalities to the business and the economy.
But the human being in me kind of appreciates the agrarian cycle.

[A]lexander I am fairly certain that it is possible if not necessary to construct a finished constitutional basis for rule of law. It may be impossible to imagine the means of production of commons that we call government within that rule of law. Because the basis of the rule of law appears to be a universal logical necessity.
