Movie. Bit of Bad Luck. Lots of Western Washington locations. Mt Si. North Bend. And the actors strangely enough act like western Washingtonians. Except that we don’t have that lower class. Otherwise it’s hysterical.

Talking with Heinrik tonight about “WE ARE THE NEW RIGHT.”

I have to manage, while fighting through this cold medicine, to make some important intellectual points. I hope I can do it.

The right movements of each culture failed.

The right has a harder time with philosophy

Conservative intuition is the most temporally distant and the hardest to describe.

immediate consumption of progressive/feminine requires only immediate experiential. Intermediate wealth generation of the libertarian requires only agreement. But the long term requires the mind exaggerate all effects over the long term.

Of these three we are discussing increasingly complex phenomenon: experience, estimation, and long term projection.

Our function is to set limits on individual gratification if it comes at the expense of the tribe, and to defend gratification if it does not. Especially when that gratification comes to reproduction or immigration that would weaken the tribe.

What I have endeavored to do is to create a language by which all three of these can be discussed rationally.

That is the failure of the conservatives in every society. They work with the tools that they understood from the past (belief, sentiment, tradition) rather than inventing tools necessary for the new era.

We are the new right because we have fully abandoned the enlightenment fallacies of the nature of man and returned to the problem of continuous domestication that we have been practicing for thousands of years, and which started our dominion over man, nature, and universe.

We are the new right, because we now have a language, and a solution to offer, where the past thinkers did not.

    What are those languages?

Lies and deceits (postmodernism), Allegory and myth(religion). Morality(reason). Rationalism(post-kantian philosophy). Allegory and history(empiricism). Pseudoscience(jewish enligthenment). Science(testimony free of error and bias).

We have a true description of failure (equality), a language for describing it (science), and a solution to adopt: market government and nationalism.

So we are the new right because we are the first people to have earned that status through identifying the problem, accumulating evidence by waiting until it was intolerable, developing a social science, proposing a solution, and organizing a revolution with which to remove the lies from all walks of our lives and return us to our tradition of excellence.

I have taken to reading espresso, cappuccino, espresso foam as equivalent to tea leaves in order to entertain baristas, waiters, and my companions with essays in the moment. It’s freaking hysterical. You can pretty much freely associate anything and work it into a serious, humorous (or embarassing), part of the conversation. And it makes them all look at their espressos more carefully…

it’s not long time preference. its nesting. it’s a purely female strategy. use gossip and cunning and submissiveness as bait. use optimistic suggestion to encourage risky behavior. I mean, it’s freaking evil as hell.

    THE PURPOSE OF RELIGION?

Religion like creativity, provides a group evolutionary strategy, loosely constructed in myth and literature. It creates decidability in matters of collective ambition.

Morality like creativity provides general rules of behavior, loosely constructed as shoulds and should nots. Morals, ethics, manners.

Law like science provides the negative: That which we may not do, because it impedes our group evolutionary strategy. It creates decidability in matters of interpersonal dispute.

    KNOWLEDGE PROCESS

Observation > Free Association > Hypothesis > Theory > Physical Law

    GROUP STRATEGY PROCESS

Competition > Strategy > Religion > Morality > Judicial Law

That’s probably profound – at least for most people.
