Today’s song of the day is (apparently) “There ain’t no rest for the wicked”.
Need a karaoke bar and some whiskey, and maybe a cigar.

TALKATIVE WOMEN ARE AWESOME
I love women who ‘talk too much’. I don’t understand men who want a quiet woman. Women talk about all sorts of nonsense, giggle and laugh a lot, and it’s little of it is important, and it’s like birds singing, or flowers in the room.
Nagging isn’t talking. I mean talking to you, to friends, to everyone.
Possibly because I”m pretty verbal also. But at least for me, I find it wonderful.

CRITICAL RATIONALISM AND JUSTIFICATIONISM: JUST THE BEGINNING
The critical rationalists are vocal about the ever present effects of ever present justificationism. yet they do not take this into behavior, manners, ethics, morals, politics, and economics to the same degree that they do to verbal argument, statistics, and physical sciences.
The world is built subtractively: we seek to make things cheaper. We cannot make time and energy, we can only save them. We cannot make liberty we can only suppress parasitism.

SLEEP AND PROGRAMMING
I was waaaaay too tired to work last night, but kept working until almost midnight. But woke this morning and the answer popped into my head with the first bit of awareness – and I felt stupid for not watching a movie instead of working.
it’s that feeling of “i want to do the right and heroic thing” when in fact the right and heroic thing to do is eat, drink water, and sleep.

(dear 88’ers. slavs are ‘whiter’ than we are. It’s just a fact. we’re all more or less ukrainian. we’re more outbred than they are. the rest of the IE are all iranian or indo-iranian, and outbred as hell. The pontic steppe is ukrainian, and was conquered by muscovites. But they spoke ukrainian, not russian. russians – muscovites – are one quarter finn. So lets get this straight: ‘white’ means ukrainian that is not inbred with iranian, indo-iranian, or the other races. And we atlantic, celtic, german, nordic westerners are inbred with three ‘generations’ (waves) of ‘ukrainians’ from the north of the black sea. Plus the original europeans who were not white but did have blue eyes, and the southern europeans who were shepherds, not cattle raiders. Teutons and Nordics and expecially the dutch may be indeed the superior branch of our family. But teh most pure branch of it sits out here on the borderlands. The northern italians are as german as the rest of us, and the souther italians largely greeco/turkic like their greek ancestors. And the upper class of yamnayans that ruled greece are all but bred out. Which is our fate: we domesticate and die for it.)

The reason catholics make good (conservative) philosophers is clearly idealism. I still can’t figure out where we get it from. But there is a very great difference between the protestant ethic (which I possess) and the catholic mind (which I also possess). I suspect it is the sense of wonder that is a byproduct of inquiring into the mind and will of god.
This is very different from inquiring into the physical world and the political world.
I also notice that the protestants tend to psychologize and ridicule where catholics think paternally and objectively.
This is the mystery of religions. The externalities they produce. Or, perhaps, the externalities our ancestors ‘felt’ but could not ‘articulate’ and encouraged by analogy and indirection.
