    Objectivism, by not acknowledging deflated truth, uses Aristotelian argumentation as justification for certainty by a “platonic elevation” of reason as a “perfect form”.

    This leads to:

    1) unwarranted certainty in truth claims (a justification for god-speak)

    2) dismissiveness regarding detractors without bearing the burden of proper criticism.

    3) The above two points isolate thinking to criteria defined by a platonic ideal. The result has proven to be a cult-like mentality

    I wrote a very important if long piece the other day. it was one of my early drafts. I was showing the relationship between the very simple three factor model of emotions, and the three factor model of incentives, and the five factor model that is commonly used in psychology. And I don’t think very many people noticed it.

    But if you have that model, property in toto, and the six dimensions to falsify under testimonialism, the intertemporal division of gender and cognitive labor, the three modes of coercion, the methods of communication from existential to supernatural, the use of common law for the purpose of incremental suppression, the transaction cost theory of government, and the use of truth to justify various group evolutionary strategies, our western use of sovereignty and the unavoidable production of markets in all walks of life, and therefore the necessity of markets in the production of commons and polities, then you have the major criteria – the framework, for explaining ALL human phenomenon in objective, amoral, rationally comparable terms.

    What I had not realized was how severely the animals in the pit drag the humans back down with them.

    The reason you can learn so much once you understand the basics of Propertarianism (which is really, The Natural Law of Cooperation)is that you have a universal and consistent MODEL and LANGUAGE for the analysis of human history, the comprehension of current events, and framework for future decisions.

    Even saying that doesn’t quite get it across. Because Natural Law is to society what the physical laws are to the physical sciences.

You wanna talk about differences in the distributions of ability between genders, classes, tribes, nations, and races, or between laws, ideologies, philosophies, religions, and civilizations, then I am all for it. But I am a CLASSIST and NATIONALIST not a RACIST, and I talk about solutions for us not criticisms of others. So sorry, I love my kin above all others, but that does not equate to the hate of others. It merely says that in all choices I do not permit the externalization of any cost upon my kin by others and their kin, because this violates Natural Law of reciprocity by which ALL tribes, races, and nations can ascend – as long as they continuously limit the size of their underclasses.

    NEWS IS JUST INDUSTRIALIZED GOSSIP AND NOTHING MORE

    Remember, the news media makes a profit from telling you outright lies that get your attention, so that they can sell advertising to commercial organizations, that profit from telling you half truths so that they can profit by getting your attention.

    If you hear gossip do you believe it? Or do you reserve judgement until you’ve heard both sides of the story? As human beings we believe gossip we want to be true and we disbelieve gossip that we don’t want to be true.

    This is the CHEAPEST and EASIEST way to confirm our biases. Because investigating the source and discovering what was actually said or done, is costly. We did not evolve to investigate what is true and false. We evolved to rally each other to our preferred ends by reinforcing one another’s cognitive biases, by gossiping to one another. Truth is not useful in rallying unless it is in your favor.

    All ‘news’ is just ‘gossip’. All reporters are just ‘gossips’.

    That’s all they are. Just as the gossips you know profit by getting attention that they seek from others. The media, the public intellectuals, the academy, the politicians, and the advertisers and marketers are just gossips.

    We are governed by gossip.
