I’m still using an iPhone 12 mini, and I’ll stay with this form factor as long as they make it. In fact I still have my 6s as my second phone (though I need to fix the screen again).
I kept the four(s?) until someone stole it and got the six. I kept the two until someone stole it and I got the four. And before that I used the nokia windows phone (which was fking awesome beacues of all the microsoft integration). And the truth is if msft had kept up I’d have used it.
What a bunch of FKUPS they were at MSFT during the Ballmer administration. I thought apple was gonna do the same nosedive when Jobs died, because some of the decisons were so bad it was unbelievable – over estimating the ipad, the watch, cancelling the routers? Abandoning the server and network biz? That menu bar? The ports? Dumbing down the software? But they seem to have turned a corner with the M1s even if they still underrate the business, power user, developer and community and have all but surrendered video production to the microsoft platform. (omg).
They went full consumer, but it’s resulted in the company surviving entirely by the iphone.

Trump has no problem playing a game of golf, pitching a great speech or holding and adversarial argument. Biden can’t walk without tripping of falling, gets lost and says non sequiturs in speeches, and fumbles in arguments.

EXPLANATION
All this graph says is that dating apps are a terrible means of developing attraction, and that women must FEEL attraction while men are willing to invest and discover it (unless they are highly desirable in which case it’s just a numbers game.)
That’s all this chart tells us.
Why?
The difference between the sexes is brain differences in time orientation. (yes really, and no it’s not complicated)
– Women live in now and men live in then.
– Women live in empathizing (now) and men live in systematizing (then).
– Women live in neuroticism (now) and men live in calm (then)
– Women live in consumption(now) and men live in capitalization (then).
– Women live in devotion (now) and men live in loyalty (then)
These are evolutionary differences produced by the necessity of the reproductive division of labor between women and childbearing and resource allocation, and men and territorial control and resource production.
These compatibilities can only be discovered rather slowly and with investment on the part of both parties.
Seek value compatibility first.
We are having a population crash. Exacerbated by losee of national competitive advantage, a relationship collapse, a marriage and family collapse, and a reproductive collapse, almost guaranteeing that we will lack the competent productive populations necessary to provide the social services, and employment, particularly for the care of the retired (if there ever will be again).
Grow up.
Restore the family not the individual as the primary purpose of policy.

I have always felt safer in Russia, Ukraine and Belarus than I have in much of urban America.

We can find plenty of sickness and evil here to match every sickness and evil there. They need our rule of law, ,and we need their familial traditionalism, nationalism,
I’ve lived in Ukraine and adopted it as my ‘home’ and can’t really wait to return. But I understand that this is the dictator putin’s war, and the circle of gangsters he manages the country with using the bribery provided by the resource economy.
So while I am always and everywhere on the Ukrainian side, it does not mean I cannot find the good in their country as I can in almost any.
I understand our problems. They are horrific. We are saved only by epigraphy and historical accident. And there is as good a chance we will end rather shortly as there is russia will end. And for very different reasons.

Singers in traditional dress traveling from public place to public place singing carols you can tip them. Very common for children on holidays. We used to do these things too before the lefts war on civilization. https://t.co/BUiN4ONXbJ

Sarcasm from the past. When asked if I remembered someone. I’m afraid to rely on such humor here on Twitter. The infantile left has made the world unsafe for adults. https://t.co/g33MS0lCtk

Memory evolved first to self regulate, then emerged emerged to help us REACT. Eventually to predictively react and act. Remembering the past as we understand it as accessible memories consisting of sequences of episodes and their constituent parts, is one of the last most developed faculties that develops. In other words, memory as you experience it is the mirror image of the sophistication of consciousness as you experience it.
If you get into the weeds in neuroscience, you can see the evolution of the brain, and it’s a relatively obvious and trivial sequence in retrospect once you grasp it.
