    I have a relative by marriage that is in the ‘crazy vegan chick’ cult, and she caused her infant brain damage by underfeeding him. That we substitute carbs for vegetables is a bad, sure. That we eat more meat than fish is a bad, sure. But ideological vegetarianism is little more than an attempt to exert control by minds that feel powerless, lacking agency, because the are borderline psychotic.

    My understanding of history is that the Chinese insularism, is absolutely the optimum strategy. The principle problem wth the chinese was that they failed to solve the problem of competing interests, and tort law to resolve them, which prevented them from solving the problems of (formal) reason, and science.

    If the romans had built the walls, (which they started) they would have given us ‘china’ in the same way that the mountains gave india, and the desert gave africa, and the oceans gave australia and the americas,

    the central problem has been the tribalism of the people of the desert and steppe: the middle east.

    You know, if we had let the soviets expand their ‘communism’ into the islamic countries, they would have crushed islamism, enforced education, and removed muslim illiteracy as well as superstition. Yet their economies would have eventually failed as all socialist economies do. And then they would have transferred to consumer capitalism and markets out of envy rather than resistance.

    The shooter was identified as Nasim Aghdam who slammed YouTube for purportedly censoring her after she claimed that they demonetized her channels, including an exercise one devoted to exercise videos and another devoted to veganism. Aghdam channeled her anger toward YouTube into a manifesto published online. She wrote in her purported manifesto: “Be aware! Dictatorship exists in all countries but with different tactics! They only care for personal and short-term profits and do anything to reach their goals even by fooling simple-minded people, hiding the truth, manipulating science and everything, putting public mental and physical health at risk, abusing non-human animals, polluting the environment, destroying family values, promoting materialism and sexual degeneration in the name of freedom and turning people into programmed robots!”

    The reason the religions all favored monogamy is for the simple reason that while we require a lot of males to fend off other males, (armies) we do not need many domestic males. The fact that the rather obvious solution to this problem is to create armies that produce not only war but commons, and let ‘prostitution’ run wild, and meanwhile the upper 30% of males ‘spread it around’, while we redistribute gains to women who produce offspring – which is how we evolved – is somehow lost on us.

    I try not to insert myself into others universes unless they’re making a mistake (Pinker on violence (shifting), Taleb on warranty and law vs skin and money, and Peterson on Fictionalism and truth), although I probably should deal with Molyneux and optimistic aggression.

  • Why Is It that We Persist This Middle Eastern Savagery

    You know, the fact that the modern church (a) tolerated pedophiles and worse, (b) refused to rectify(sic) the situation, (c) has not reformed to allow married priests, and (d) has now directly turned against european civilization – doubling down on supernaturalism and (e) selected an anti-european pope, means it is time to end that church and bring about another. Why is it that we persist this middle eastern savagery rather than transcend the abrahamic dark ages, and emerge a people of natural law, nature, and the transcendence of man?
