All You Need to Know About Stoicism
Stoicism consists of disciplined self authoring. The purpose of stoicism is to teach mindfulness. Not escapist mindfulness, but actionable mindfulness. Not fantasy mindfulness, but actionable mindfulness. Not victim mindfulness but actionable mindfulness. Enumerate a number of virtues (these are open to debate) Write a plan for your life that includes achievements and virtues. Every day plan your day. Every night review your progress. Repeat this process until you do it by nature. The purpose is to insulate you from opinions, influences, and manipulations of others, while gradually achieving your ends, without falling into manipulation, influence, and opining others. That’s it. That’s all there is to it. The rest is just a romance novel we wrap around that discipline. It’s the best method we know of so far, with buddhism a far distant, and escapist, second.

Humanity Fills Every Niche of Opportunity – Including the Criminal
The Roma at one end of the spectrum, using begging and theft, and the They fill middle of the spectrum using rent seeking, and the end of the spectrum (predation) is occupied by last of the pastoralists to adopt monotheism using outright predation. I mean HUMANITY FILLS EVERY AVAILABLE NICHE of opportunity for exploiting the existing world, and only the westerners persist by preventing exploitation of all those niches.

I think I have it figured out. It’s a matter of content, incentives, and institutions. I think I have worked out the incentives and most of the content. But that will take me as much as another five years or so. There is no rush other than my age and health.

I don’t think a lot of people will be able to wield the epistemology all that we
I don’t think a lot of people will be able to wield the epistemology all that well – although I might be wrong. But the number of people who will make arguments, and make them better and more accessible than I do is large. I mean, I see this stuff showing up everywhere. The terms. The ideas. The arguments. And the people who have been around for years are better than I am at the inspirational.
