Michael Churchill The influence of billionaires who donate to elections cannot be overstated. I did an analysis of this once. It is unbelievable. Soros himself really does have incredible power. Also Adelson and Simons and a few other cats. There are a couple on the right as well. Think tanks and donations to politicians … that is where the power is. That is the reason to try to make a billion.

( I have a great intellectual empathy for David Gordon at Mises. When I hear myself talk I notice the similarities in everything. The difference is, while I can say “i read that in a paper… but not sure which one..”, David can say “it’s in x book on page y, in the upper left hand corner.” Seriously. The guy is freaking amazing. Beautiful human being. Love the man. )
