  • The Best Curriculum is Not Ron Paul’s. It’s Pacifist Judeo-Christian – not Aristocratic.

[T]HE BEST CURRICULUM? —“Curt, would you recommend Ron Paul’s Mises-based homeschool curriculum as the best option out there for parents?”— Megan Cyloneight “Best” I don’t know. Ron Paul’s curriculum is pacifist. It produces good middle class universalist judeo-christians. Good subjects. People who can easily be conquered.

To create aristocracy I would add to it: 1) Grammar, Logic, Testimony, and Prosecution (including the methods of lying) 2) Propertarian psychology, sociology, group competitive strategy. 3) The methods of legal order: american, british, german, russian, chinese – under which the people create commons while holding a government at bay. 4) The conduct of war by means of immigration, religion/conversion, political means, and economic means, and defense against each. 5) Fitness, Sports, Fighting, tactics, strategy, command and control. Ron Paul makes well informed, docile, employees. Curt Doolittle makes well informed unconquerable sheriffs.

(later in the day…) Thanks for an interesting question by Megan Cyloneight today, I was able to understand that I had to add ‘prosecution’ to the curriculum, in order to change the student of western civilization from a christian servant to an aristocratic judge. 0) The matters of europa (ancient literature): Fairy Tales, Myths, Histories. 1) Grammar, Rhetoric, Logic, Testimony, Prosecution. 2) Propertarian psychology, economics, sociology, politics, evolutionary strategy, war.

It is no use reserving prosecution and war for the adults. Enfranchise them all.

ANOTHER THOUGHT There are three technologies of coercion: violence, economics, and shaming (inclusion/exclusion). I advocate teaching ALL THREE methods of ‘moral’ competition. Ron Paul is advocating only one. Economics is not a panacea. We must cover all the bases so to speak.

  • @ForeignPolicy Portland and Seattle are relative paradises because they escaped

@ForeignPolicy Portland and Seattle are relative paradises because they escaped the great society movement, and remain almost entirely white

@ForeignPolicy Heterogeneity, and moving people to capital, is a failed experiment. Then normative costs are higher than the discount made.

@ForeignPolicy Move capital to people and cause local reformation do not move people to capital and cause local degradation of civic society

  • “Your major assumption is that IQ is a reasonable substitute for intelligence.”-

-“Your major assumption is that IQ is a reasonable substitute for intelligence.”—

Intelligence(“g”, short term memory, information mode, general knowledge, ‘rationality of wants’) + gender bias + psychological factors: (Impulsivity, Aggression, Extraversion, Agreeableness, Conscientiousness, and Worrying) is as close as we need to be to make general statements about groups of people.

There is literally NO evidence that suggests the contrary.

And to further criticize the position, the correspondence between the IQ proxy for intelligence and all other personality factors is high enough that IQ is also a proxy for positive personality traits.

So yes, as a general rule, and when we speak politically we rely entirely on general rules, IQ is a sufficient proxy for demonstrated (existential) intelligence. I think this is a bit of a mistake since it does not demonstrate the problem of personality traits and information model.

We have a pretty good model of intelligence: rational action, creativity, rate of learning. But these two ( factors: verbal and spatial) overwhelm all other variables in causation.

    NOW

—“the g factor will account for a smaller proportion of individual differences in cognitive tests scores at higher scores on the g factor.”–

Meaning that as we get smarter we tend to specialize.

As we get ‘dumber’ we tend to get more the same.

    CHALLENGES

It appears that western openness to experience is a candidate for western innovation.

It is a mistake not to publish the full set of test data. Particularly personality. ( and autism/solipsism).

Obscuring this information is intentional because it would destroy the universalist mythos.

This is no different from the church suppressing science
