  • How Many Left Libertarian Ideologies Are There?

THat’s a contradiction in terms. Left means either parasitism or free riding. Left libertarians promote free riding on all commons.

  • Should Poland Apologize To Russia For Invading Russia In 1919–1920?

I think russia has more apologizing to do than any other existing country, so lets not get into this kind of thing. Either you are advancing one another’s economic interests in the present or you are not. There is nothing else to be discussed.

Blame your family and friends. Grownups conduct trades in a market. And if you are considering blame in international affairs you are too immature to be holding the discussion.

  • If Someone Wanted To, What Would They Need To Realistically Do In Order To Topple All Current World Governments?

Invent a germ that rapidly kills rice and wheat. (Yes, there are people who think of how to do these things.) Or the equivalent that ‘eats’ hydrocarbons (petroleum products). In both cases, all governments and all civilizations would fall rather rapidly, and population would return to agrarian levels. In particular, a germ that would kill rice would kill billions cheaply and quickly, which would drive governments to revolt and war.

  • Is Human/animal Hybrid A Possibility By Science?

It is possible to transfer traits (we can do that) but genomes contain a great deal of error checking and redundancy, and proteins work together in a complex ‘cellular ecosystem’ where small variations can produce catastrophic consequences to the organism’s ability to survive. So to say we can cumulatively transfer traits between our species is probably true. But all attempts to cause inter-breeding have failed. (Yes, scientists, particularly one russian, have tried it.)

So trait-addition and modification is probably not only possible but may be beneficial (so that we can live in harmony with large mammals in particular by pedomorphic/neotenic evolution as we have done with dogs.) But inbreeding is too ‘primitive’ a method because in all but outlying cases, the genomes would consider the ovum ‘defective’.

  • Are Australians More Or Less Cultured Than Americans?

Australians are better MANNERED than americans, by far. Largely because they have not had the problems with immigration that the USA has had during the 20th century.

As for cultured, i think they’re about the same.

  • What Do You Think About People Who Withhold Information To Get Ahead?

We all act in our interests at all times, given the balance between costs and benefits. There are many costs and benefits. Physical, emotional, intellectual, social, political, legal, material. We are exceptionally good at calculating those benefits and making use of them.

  • Do You Think The World’s First Trillionaire Will Have Earned The Money Legally?

Legally and morally are two different things.
The law is not ethical, or moral, or good, or true. It just is.
It’s questionable whether Bezos is acting morally.
As far as I know, at least within reason, he is acting legally.

Asking whether something is legal or not is nonsensical.
Was it productive, fully informed (transparent), warrantied, voluntary, and without imposition of costs against the investments of others? If yes then it is ethical, moral, and hopefully legal.

  • What Can Someone Do To Motivate People (the Average American) To Reason?

Man is a rational actor. If people disagree with you, it’s because they have a good reason to disagree with you.

There are no common goods other than productive, fully informed, voluntary, exchange, free of imposition of costs upon others by externality.

Everything else isn’t reason – it’s excuse making.

That’s what Rationalize means. That’s what Justification means.

    Making excuses.

  • Today’s Date Is December 16, 2017. How Many People Who Voted For Donald Trump Are Ready To Admit They Made A Mistake?

The base that voted for him is very happy with his progress and remains solidly behind him. Sorry. “The Base” is there.

  • Where Is The Best Breakfast Place In Bellevue, Wa?

The choices aren’t that great really.

    1. HIGH: Brunch at Newcastle (Restaurant at the golf club) Best by far.
    2. MIDDLE: Brown Bag Cafe (redmond. I don’t know if they still have that little house downtown, but that’s the ‘old redmond’ experience.
    3. LOW: Chase’s Pancake Corral (bottom of bellevue way)

I suppose I qualify as “Old Bellevue” these days (which is weird), but you know, those are the staples.

I don’t recognize Bellevue or Redmond any longer. When I moved to Bellevue, redmond was … like 10k people?

Anyway. Use TripAdvisor for restaurant reviews. They tend to be the best because they cater to people who travel a great deal, and therefore have a lot to compare against.
