(FB 1542214591 Timestamp) THE ECONOMIC APPROACH TO HUMAN BEHAVIOR You know, it’s so much a part of my cognition that I forget to mention it. But this book framed my thinking about social science more so than any other. I think in the Becker model. Ostrom just helps with extending the Becker model into commons. The “minds” that I imitate (make use of constantly) are Becker, Hayek, Hoppe, Popper, Turing-Chomsky, (the outlier is Hoppe (property) which is what the rest are missing), with Jeff Hawkins’s work on intelligence ( already having come true), and Baron Cohen’s so obvious, it’s coming true daily in the research. The Nietzsche I rely on is Birth of Tragedy. Someone will skewer me for this but his fundamental insight was produce there, and all else is application of it. Step back to the beginning again, and grasp that I studied history, art history, and military history first before any of this, and the sequence of aggregate behavior down to neurological processing is a completely coherent and consistent series of ideas. https://www.amazon.com/Economic-Approach-Human-Behavior/dp/0226041123

(FB 1542233276 Timestamp) THE STOIC RESTORATION MOVEMENT CONTINUES —“@Curt Doolittle Much respect to on making the connection between Peterson and stoicism, you’re the first person I’ve seen to share that sentiment. Did you read that somewhere, or come up with it alone?”— Cheers. No, not from elsewhere, it’s part of my work – and was fairly obvious at some point. I thought I would have to do it myself, (and I would not be good at it) because between Pigliucci (restoration / personal ) and Robertson (cognitive behavioral therapy), and Jung/Peterson (suggestion by archetype), no one has the full picture (nor how it relates to religion), but between them they seem to be converging on Stoicism the same way the greeks and ancient romans converged on it – due to market demand. I sort of view it as up to people like you and I to make sure that convergence occurs. (We are working on it at the Institute just in case it doesn’t). The problem is, that the underclass narrative (abrahamic religions(judaism> christianity> Islam) in the ancient world and the pseudoscientific revision of ( Marxism> postmodernism> feminism in the modern world) in the modern world, were both more successful because they allowed undermining from the bottom in both eras rather than institutionalization of stoicism as defense against the dark ages that the ancient and modern world were and are threatened with. So you know, market demand on one side and insurance against another dark age on the other. Cheers ( fyi: Noah J Revoy )

The Greek spectators, by looking into the abyss of human suffering and affirming it, passionately and joyously affirmed the meaning of their own existence. They knew themselves to be infinitely more than petty individuals, finding self-affirmation not in another life, not in a world to come, but in the terror and ecstasy alike celebrated in the performance of tragedies.”—

Such a type of man is proud of the very fact that he has not been made for compassion: which is why the hero of the saga adds in warning, âIf a man does not have a hard heart when young, it will never hardenâ. The noble and the brave who think like this are the furthest from that morality that sees the badge of morality precisely in compassion or in doing things for others or in désintéressement; oneâs faith in oneâs self, oneâs pride in oneâs self, a basic animosity and irony towards âselflessnessâ belongs just as definitely to noble morality as a mild contempt and wariness towards compassionate feelings and the âwarm heartâ”— Nietzsche, from the Genealogy of Morals.

(FB 1542218822 Timestamp) HEROISM AND COSTS by Luke Weinhagen Heroism is the application of virtue where that application has a potential direct cost to you. It is hard to train for directly because people interpret virtue so subjectively but training the foundation, overcoming inaction in the face of costs, is something anyone can do. Expose yourself to situation where you have a strong possibility to fail. Fail. Get back up. It is best if your parents do this for you as young as possible, but nowadays most parents don’t. So it is likely up to you. Find something you are motivated by (so you have a reason to get back up) that also offers you the likelihood of initial failure and overextend yourself into it (ideally not something that will kill you is you are just beginning to embrace failure).

(FB 1542215679 Timestamp) by Brandon Hayes Life is only suffering for those with no (low and developing) agency. It’s the only frame that motivates them to face it (life; the suffering). One must have (develop) the capacity for heroism to withstand tragedy as a plausible noble outcome. The world “just happens” to those that lack real consciousness. Thus they can’t perceive the responsibility they must bear.

Every step of the way you have to carry more a burden. You have to recognize the costs being imposed upon you by the parasites are there because you are allowing them to be. Right now the funnel is not for weak engines not the faint of heart. “Fuck it, let’s just impose it” becomes a relief. If we can get to where we can start to suppress the parasites, this funnel opens up to more and more people. We get to that wider audience.

(FB 1542288731 Timestamp) THE COMING CIVIL WAR (from elsewhere) The Left Demonstrates. The Right Wars. Demonstration is cheap and incautiously undertaken. War is expensive and cautiously undertaken. The Right are simply waiting for an excuse to make an example of ANTIFA. When that happens it will be the means by which this cold civil war turns hot. The Right wants that war. As soon as possible. And ANTIFA is the excuses they need to start it. In any civil war it requires one tenth of one percent of men to fight, and between one and three percent of men to assist them. There are 30M dedicated, conservative men on the Right with nearly all of the weapons and ammunition. A significant portion have military experience, or are, or were police. 70% of the military and police will defect to the Right either outright or by holding their posts and offering feigned resistance. The right will act during the winter, and cut the power and data, the fuel transport, the food transport, and the rails. No ATM’s, no EBC cards, no heat, no fuel, no food, no water. The rest is setting fires, and letting the cities fall under their own weight. There are only two cities capable of any degree of non-normative policing and those are NY and DC. There are a total of 2M military personnel, and another 1M government personnel. Never has an empire been more fragile. Any civil war will be a slaughter. And it’s coming. Soon.

(FB 1542386080 Timestamp) IT DOESN’T TAKE 30 YEARS TO SPEAK IN THE NATURAL LAW. IT TAKES AS LONG AS A DEGREE IN THE LAW —“In 30 years maybe I’ll have Curt’s ability to summarise this well.”— Regarding: ( “….No Marxist, postmodern, feminist revolution is possible because the competence structure necessary for the preservation of human standards of living cannot tolerate any other distribution than the Pareto…..”) Just to comfort you … it takes four years on average if you try to construct and repeat the arguments. There are people who are faster and take a year or so, but only four so far. We have pre-complied many of the arguments. We are in the process of refining them today into Definitions, Series (this>that>that-other), Aphorisms, and Maxisms, (like the quote above) that can be memorized rather than reinvented each time you want to use them. So it depends on age (younger is easier), personality (observers, lower agreeableness), and whether you have experience in philosophy of science, programming, economics, and history, so that you either have an existing framework, or so that you are not so ‘addicted’ to analogies and literature that (really) induce a form of ignorance through imprecision. Evidence is that if you are drawn to philosophy and theology it might be an impediment – although not always. Philosophy and theology as practiced are a significant part of the problem: fantasy literature.
