    THE AXIAL AGE

—“The period from 900 to 200 BCE has been described by historians as the axial age, a term coined by German philosopher Karl Jaspers. According to Jaspers, this is the era of history when “the spiritual foundations of humanity were laid simultaneously and independently… And these are the foundations upon which humanity still subsists today”. Intellectual historian Peter Watson has summarized this period as the foundation of many of humanity’s most influential philosophical traditions, including monotheism in Persia and Canaan, Platonism in Greece, Buddhism, Jainism in India, and Confucianism and Taoism in China.”– Wikipedia

From monkey we become men, only to evolve in high tech rats on drugs who live in concrete jungles.”—

    By Brian Barr

—“Property rights are for farmers / human rights are for migrants (hunters) – when it comes to economics these are both reflex propositions in response to defection or tragedy of the commons. The problem we have today is past that of even managing the despoiling of commons: the ecosystem has become a people-system and the main problem with this is that people can occupy every niche but they don’t eat each other. This is unnatural/unsustainable, so that it’s escalating – more effort is called for from everyone in a kind of hysteria, and there is no proper instinctive response in place.”—

The first sentence is exceptional. I can’t edit the rest down, so I’ll say that absent natural competitors, we have *YET* no institutional means to constrain humans from overconsumption.

Hence, markets in everything and constraint on reproduction to those who are productive.

JESUS DIDN’T INVENT CHRISTIANITY, PAUL DID.

    by Steve Akins

Jesus didn’t invent Christianity, a Jew named Saul of Tarsus (who never met Jesus during his lifetime) started the cult of Jesus worship that became Christianity by claiming that Jesus was the “only begotten son” of the Jewish god, Yahweh, and that his execution was the ultimate sacrificial offering to Yahweh to atone for all of the sins of humanity. Saul (or Paul) went about trying to convince the denizens of the Roman Empire that this dead Jew named Jesus was “God” incarnate, who died and then resurrected himself and ascended into heaven, and whose law was to love your enemies and to treat foreigners as your own family, so that through the adoption of this Jew-created cult, the Roman Empire that had conquered Judea and destroyed the Jews temple in Jerusalem, was ultimately destroyed by being subjugated though the adoption of this cult of tolerance, just as the Jews intended.

    by Curt Doolittle

Jews (Paul) adopted the female strategy against alphas: gossip.

Jesus was brilliant as a philosopher, even a philosopher in primitive verse. It was Paul who made it into the first version of marxism.

Intolerance is a virtue (cost) not a vice (discount).

    DUAL ETHICS

    by Ivan Ilakovac

In dual ethics the distinction is made between the members of your group and those that are outside of the group. Hence the hate and genocidal attitude towards goyim and infidels. In universal ethics there is no such distinction. Everyone is equal (under the Law.)

    JESUS’ INNOVATIONS

    by Aaron Kahland

I’m no expert on the subject but my intuition is that Jesus launched a veiled rebellion against the Old Testament.

He rejected dual ethics and replaced it with universal ethics the latter of which was crucial for the rule of law.

    Islam then reintroduced dual ethics.

It is of no surprise to those who believe (as I do) that Islam was constructed from Jewish religious texts.

I would argue that Jesus differentiated between personal morality and the law (ethics) – a crucial innovation.

—“I don’t really think that you got the answer you were looking for. It seemed more of an observation that the church failed along with other institutions, but not specifically *why* the church failed, which I think is not to difficult to explain.

The church failed because in a market for lies, the most comforting lies (Cultural Marxism) will out-compete less comforting lies (Christianity), not to mention uncomfortable truths (Aristocracy).

The solution, of course, is what you state, and repeatedly: truth.”—

    And there we go. 🙂

—“The entire purpose of cultural Marxism is to “change societal consciousness”. The Marxists could not figure why Western Europe was not proceeding to communism. The Frankfurt school got together for that purpose. They created critical theory and over the years there have been dozens of offshoots. It is Marx’s material dialectic applied to culture and coupled with a kind social psychoanalysis. Supposedly, The dialectic (thesis, antithesis, and synthesis) is applied to root out objectification, alienation, and oppression and bring about liberation. Marcuse, Horkheimer, Fromm, Adorno, and Jurgen Habermas are some big names. However, it is just pseudoscience.”—Clifton Knox

  • DIFFERENCES IN PERSONALITY ARE EXACTLY WHAT YOU’D EXPECT FROM THE STEREOTYPES. (

http://www.people.vcu.edu/~mamcdani/Publications/AOM_as_of_8%201%202008.pdfRACIAL DIFFERENCES IN PERSONALITY ARE EXACTLY WHAT YOU’D EXPECT FROM THE STEREOTYPES. (AND OTHER RESEARCH)

(note that this is a huge sample size)

—“Using 567 effect sizes and a total sample size of over

one million, the present meta-analysis estimates the magnitude of White-Black differences found in scores of Big 5 personality measures as well as measures of locus of control and self-efficacy.

    We offer seven primary conclusions.

1 – First, we conclude that the magnitudes of the White –Black differences are very small. (Curt says: yep.)

2 – Our second conclusion is that the magnitude of the White –Black differences for the Big 5 is moderated by the cognitive loading of the personality scales. (Curt says: yep)

3 – Our third conclusion is that most of our results are primarily consistent with the nil hypothesis which is that there are no differences between Blacks and Whites on four of the seven personality constructs.

( Curt interjects and says: yep, we differ in extroversion/introversion, differ in neuroticism/stability, we differ in agreeableness or what HBDchick would call Clannishness. My view again, is that introversion and neuroticism and intelligence are related expressions. in other words it comes down to IQ and distributions.)

Blacks are slightly more extroverted and emotionally stable, and Whites are slightly more agreeable. (Curt Says: double-yep. )

4 – Fourth, we conclude that journal data often suppress results that disfavor Blacks. ( Curt says: yep, and conversely, heaps undue praise on what criticizes whites ).

5 – Fifth, we conclude that Black college students have a slightly more favorable standing on personality variables than White college students. (ie: the black kids tat get to college are more emotionally stable, and pliable.)

6 – Our sixth conclusion is that mean racial difference in incumbent samples are not smaller than mean racial differences in applicant samples.

Finally, we conclude that personnel researchers pay far too little attention to the representativeness of their samples.”—

    Today’s winner is!….

—“To be fair almost no institution stood up to cultural Marxism. The church evolved as required and bested all comers for quite a while. “–Greg Hamilton

I was looking for this all day.

YOU CAN’T FIX A PROBLEM UNTIL YOU KNOW THE CAUSE.

So, now that we’ve had to pull some teeth today, how do you fix the church so that it can compete with cultural marxism?

Why do people love cultural marxism? Who does?

    See how easy that was?

    (Damn.)
