    ==== RUSSIAN ======

    Я только что открыл The Virtuoso Today, когда Екатерина Макаревич (Екатерина Макаревич) пригласила меня полюбить The Virtuoso Facebook Post.

    Я хочу дополнять и описывать содержание сайта Virtuoso (периодический), но, как всегда, трудно перевестись между нашими языками.

    Но я постараюсь: Виртуоз – пример философии «без вуа». Это гораздо ближе к старым европейским (великим) и греко-римским (хорошим) учениям, чем западные книги о стоицизме или добродетелях, которые часто являются детской версией самопомощи с западным детским оптимизмом.

    Вместо этого вкладчики восстановили стремление к добродетелям в форме, которая является светской, традиционной и рациональной, – без догмы богословия, псевдонаучного притворства или «нового века», столь распространенного в западной мысли.

    Я был строгим защитником славянской (ортодоксальной) культуры за то, что он избегал ошибок на западе. И это первая публикация

    Виртуоз очень близок к тому, что я рекомендую в качестве восстановления наших аристократических («стоических») добродетелей, хотя мне хотелось бы, чтобы самонаучные (цели и журналистика) еще более сознательно подчеркивали.

    ПРИМЕЧАНИЕ. Если вы используете Google Chrome и включите функции перевода, сайт будет переведен на английский язык достаточно хорошо для чтения. Мне жаль, что у меня не было времени внести английскую версию, и немецкая версия также может оказаться полезной. Но для моих друзей на Западе, которые хотят понять традиционный ум – этот сайт дает лучший ответ на наши традиционные рамки, чем доступно на западе. В любом месте.

    «woo» (сленг) некритичная вера в необоснованные или необоснованные идеи – особенно псевдонаучные, сверхъестественные и оккультные.

    ======= ENGLISH=======

    I just discovered The Virtuoso Today when Ekaterina Makarevich ( Екатерина Макаревич) invited me to like The Virtuoso Facebook Post.

    I want to compliment and describe the contents of The Virtuoso site (periodical) but as always it is hard to translate into between our languages.

    But I will try: The Virtuoso is an example of philosophy ‘without woo’. It is far closer to the old european (great) and greco-roman (good) teachings than western books on Stoicism or virtues, which are often childlike version of self help with western childish optimism.

    Instead, the contributors have restored the pursuit of virtues in a form that is secular, traditional, and rational – lacking the dogma of theology, pseudoscientific pretense, or ‘new age woo’ so common in western thought.

    I have been a rigorous advocate of slavic (orthodox) culture for its avoidance of the mistakes of the west. And this is the first publication

    The Virtuoso is very close to what I recommend as the restoration of our aristocratic (‘stoic’) virtues, although I would love to see self-authoring (goals and journaling) even more deliberately emphasized.

    NOTE: If you use Google Chrome and turn on the Translation functionality, the site will be translated into english well enough to be read. I wish I had the time to contribute an english version, and a german version might be worthwhile as well. But for my Friends in the west who want to understand the traditional mind – this site provides a better answer to our traditional framework than is available anywhere in the west. Anywhere.

Stalin embodied both criminal and Tsar russian archetypes.”—Igor Rogov

    There is a reason the operational name of mythology is “Wisdom Literature”. Because it contains wisdom that has survived market competition for centuries if no millennia.

    I have a rather defensive posture with regard to the term ‘truth’. So in order to defend the word ‘truth’ from abuses, the correct term is not ‘truth’ (most parsimonious description in operational terms) but ‘wisdom’ (analogy or general rule).

    It is the survival of this wisdom from market competition over time that provides the empirical evidence of the wisdom therein.

    —“In every case I can think of, there is no difference between a liar and a coward (in the meaning of liars we use).

    In other words, you can judge for one or the other: veracity or cowardice, they are both the same.

    Basically that’s it. No need for any complicated tomes.

    I have spent many years, defending myself from cowards, in every place in society, who always unite in their cowardice – with lies being a form of currency over which they might unite.

    And all too often, it is nearly always some coward – a yellow-backed worm (and I don’t care if he showed bravery elsewhere) – putting some woman up to do his dirty work for him.

    And I never met a woman who wasn’t up to it. Some women have had the balls themselves to initiate their own attacks. And I know not one single woman who is not utterly shameless when push comes to shove.

    And you can call that cowardice too.”—Paul Franklin

    —“The very first adjustment, that I had to make, the very first time I set foot in the USA, was to redefine ‘freedom’. ‘Freedom’ here means ‘freedom to make money’ – the word has no other meaning. As an immediate afterthought – and ‘God’ is for those who stand in the way of that.

    I had just landed in Boston, that thought coincided with leaving the airport and hitting the first public road.

    In Culebra, a tiny island (Virgin Islands) in the grip of the Big Bald Eagle (USA), where I live now, ‘liberty’ only has meaning in the context of its abuse: to take a liberty.”— Paul Franklin
