I think I was 13 when it came out? Poor production quality. Really bad editing. Even for the 70’s. Wrong lead. Talk about pushing multiculturalism – really bad love interest. Still was a pretty fun movie.

—“They Evolved Linguistic Camouflage. If the animal has no claws, no horns, no sharp teeth, what does it do? Either it runs fast or it blends in. So too with humans and tribes. Evolution applies to us in real time, like every other animal. All that the wolves must do…is gain an eye for seeing through the camouflage.”— Zach Matto
—“Uncompetitive organisms pursue parasitism – if they can. As any organism would. One doesn’t simply accept his reproductive strategy is suboptimal.”—Martin Štěpán
—“Looking at small scale niches, they see incentives, because that’s the scale they see. Looking at large scale outcomes we see counter incentives because that’s the scale we see.”—Micah Pezdirtz

THE CULT OF THE MARINES > UKRAINIAN METHOD > CULT OF CHRISTENDOM
by Charles H Brennan
To borrow from Mr Taleb, the Marines use heuristics to form cult practices and rituals that make them dangerous because every last one is working for the exact same thing. Cult practice means the most violent and impulsive grunt gains from the higher intelligence efforts of others because all serve the same goal. The higher IQ support is judged by how well it serves the purpose and success of the warrior, which fights the iron law of beaureaucracy.
The Corps also depends not only on the genetic stock of America and the guilt based culture in which its people were raised but also on thousands of years of history That shaped its organization and practices.

One Tweak: Western Civilization has built in MARKETS in EVERYTHING, including family (morals), commerce (norms), state (law), academy(philosophy), and church (theology). Separation of CHURCH and STATE preceded christianity.Connor CreeganI like Nassim, but I don’t find his defense of his Orthodox Christianity (particularly as stated in SitG) to be all that compelling beyond his personal behavior-based practice. That said, I don’t think he intends to make the case for anyone to “be” Christian other than himself.Nov 7, 2018, 10:02 AMConnor CreeganBut yeah big agree, the secular state predated Christianity, and Christian secular states are more or less incidental. Being a student of Greek he should know better.Nov 7, 2018, 10:05 AMUM. NOT JUST SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE….
