I am fairly certain I understand the logic, vocabulary and grammar of the universe. But does knowing such a thing increase comfort in that universe for me and man? Or comfort in me and man’s mutual care despite that universe’s hostility to life as a vast irradiated wasteland?

Falls into the big question: what if gods(nature’s) laws are antithetical to human existence and experience? How few of us could tolerate it? Is everything we love but just rage agains the machine?
And is that then the one reason to love one another?

What environmental conditions generate demand for homeostasis in neural economy (mindfulness) that are the most difficult to satisfy and over which we have the least control? Predator, Prey, Nurture, Social? What reduces stress that excites homoestasis (Threat)?

Physical Economy (effort)
Neural economy (mind)

Now, when did the distinction between protestant and catholic in the original post arise? Were any of these people even alive? And even if they are alive today, do they reflect the tradition of the catholic church or are they reflective of Vatican 2’s liberalism?

Questions: (a) why aren’t debt originators (who price it) required to hold it, or at least a large portion of it? (b) selling shares in it. (b) If Govt is lending and insuring, why isn’t it maintaining an interest? (c) and why wouldn’t that provide a system of measurement?

Problem: the credit expansion game by repeatedly lending the same money in iterative expansion, and leveraging the same debt in interative expansion – these practices are ‘incalculable’.

The more interesting question is, why do those of us who study large scale patterns of history do a better job of predicting economic, political, strategic outcomes?
@whatifalthist can explain why. And I think it’s profoundly important.
Why do so many empiricists get it wrong?
