    Now here I am working with the ‘newest generation’ of JS, and you know it fucking feels like 1978 all over again.

    The problem is the rate of evolution of the language and the browser.

    There is zero reason we don’t just define ‘stores’ (models, data-models) and point divs at stores, except that the damned browser consortium is now a the technological equivalent of a socialist government: impeding rates of development in order to satisfy the needs of major company bureaucracies.

    Fork Chrome and do it right. I don’t have the Time or Money for another fucking project. But you know how many BILLIONS we are wasting by letting MSFT/GOOGLE/APPLE externalize the cost of their Rent Seeking by Network Effect?

    This is why we have to teach economics in high school: so that people get pissed off at the right things, rather than this stupid leftist horse-shit.
