RESULTS OF 1MONTH OF LONG FORM TWEETS
So, about 1k new followers a month.
That’s far half of pre-12/2020 Twitter.
It’s far more than Pre-Musk(11/2021) Twitter.

In order to expand an audience quickly you need insert yourself into other threads with other “networks”. I try not to do that unless I’m running a test on something.

So I (we) grow pretty organically. Mostly when relatively new people develop an interest and start sharing the tweets.

IMO long form has allowed me to create content that adds value here on Twitter that was only previously possible on Facebook. So if nothing else happens and I continue to accumulate followers at this rate I’ll be happy.

I don’t know what the total audience CAN be but it’s got to be nearly as large as FB (20k) but not as large as we had on YT (200k-2M) before the post-election purges of social media.

The super nerd demographic just isn’t that large here on Twitter. πŸ˜‰

And I don’t want to be in the position where I have to pander to the audience to build numbers. The truth isn’t always pleasant, and in fact, the reason we need the truth is often precisely because it IS unpleasant.

    (exasperation)
I just wrote this elegant glossary of terms of natural law in response to a (common) complaint of ethical relativism. And then I moved on to post on civilizations differences in order to explain it.

And of course, I post the civilizational differences.
An cut back to the glossary of terms.
And just as I’m about done TWITTER ATE IT.
And … No. This isn’t the dog ate my homework kinda thing.
I didn’t do this for homework.
    I did it for y’all.
Now I gotta do it all over again.
And I dunno about you all, but I hate doing it over again. πŸ™

And that said, it’s after lunch and I still have to make sure I also get to:
    – our discussion today on how congress vs state created the disaster of spreading our race marxist hate around the world. And this is why our people and the world don’t get what we’re doing.
    – how the “It’s women and feminism” is popping up all over including @jordanbpeterson and @ConceptualJames, and @ScottAdamsSays and that means I CAN TELL THE TRUTH about the cuase of the present civilizational crisis without fear that I”m the lone rhetorical gunman so to speak. lol

So with that moral angst lifted I wanna make a video. πŸ˜‰
If I can get to it. πŸ˜‰

    -Cheers

    SLIDES: DISAMBIGUATION: PERCEPTION
In our course on Foundations, two of the slides I used below, help illustrate how the brain disambiguates and organizes episodes, or what you call ‘perception’. These are the best analogies I can come up with for describing how different parts… https://t.co/s9Guu92LiA

    (info)
    @TwitterBLue
    TWITTER LONG FORM EXPERIMENT: SERIES

    – You can’t chain multiple long-form tweets together as a single set of posts.

    – If you try the UI character count gets really confused and you have to copy, discard, start over, and paste.

    – You can post a long-form tweet, then reply with more long-form tweets. (What we have to do on most platforms).

    – I don’t so much care as just want to know how to do it.

    FYI:
1 – The desired length of an article is about 750 words. that would be the ideal max size for a tweet. Most writers ‘think in 750-word chunks’ out of habit now.

2 – Most of my posts that contain meaningful content are 500 – 650 words.

3 – Why? Just as there are five to seven dimensions of measurement(value) in most words, there are eight to fifteen dimensions(statements) to most arguments. So if I average 10-14 statements, that’s going to take me around 650 to 700 words.

4 – Why does it matter? As I said yesterday, long posts allow meaningful communication and (a) filter malcontents, (b) assist in obtaining understanding that narrows conflict, whereas short tweets encourage conflict

I’m not sure why this inability to chain long forms is the case, and I suspect it’s not works-as-designed, but due to the code for adding tweets to a series hasn’t been updated.

Take a month or two to get back in the flow. Thinking I’m going to test book topics here as I go along with the editing and rewriting. That collaborative model just works for me. And it stops me from writing ‘to myself’ which means ‘incomprehensible for normies’.

It’s coming. I’ve been very ill for the better part of two years, and was having other problems before that for three-plus years. Despite those issues, we’re just compiling the books now, and I’m just getting to where I can write again (cogently). πŸ˜‰ But be glad for the delay. My work was very difficult to understand before 2021, and the past two years of work have been mostly for the benefit of the readers.

    (NLI FYI:)
Running our first test of promoting a long-form tweet to see how much of a difference if any it makes. If it makes any meaningful difference at all it’s worth the cost.

However, most promoted tweets are ads. So, what happens when the tweet isn’t an ad?
