THE EVOLUTIONARY CYCLE OF THE CRITERIA FOR EQUALITY

    (priceless)

    by Bill Joslin

    1) LAW: Equality before the law, formed in the wake of costly rebellion where arbitrary, inconsistent, discretionary application of law bred resentment, encouraged retaliation and ultimately rebellion.

    2) OPPORTUNITY: Equality of opportunity – as the welfare state rise and regulation became the staple of the state, upper middle classes pled for the state from interfering in opportunity (via statute and regulation)

    3) OUTCOME: Equality of outcome – romantics, upset about a rising gentry aligned themselves with the underclass causes to “shame” the capitalist gentry. Faced with the reality that no one is equal, they pointed at unequal outcomes as an example of hypocrisy and encourages the state to “level the playing Feild”.

Leveling the Feild requires the state to develope special rights for the disadvantaged. This results in arbitrary, inconsistent and discretionary application of law….

    Wash rinse repeat.

    (A) the OBJECTIVE of the Right is to eliminate the international influence of the united states, so that we return to a domestic government rather than a (failed) ideological empire.

    (B) Assumes that it is not precisely americas intention to force europe to take responsibility for the defense of its territory(russia), trade routes (the seas), resource dependence (oil, gas, coal, and inputs to production), and financial system (the international information, financial, and legal system).

    (B) Assumes there is any VALUE to America in having other countries ‘like’ us rather than either respect or fear us. That is contrary to the evidence. All of it.

    (C) Assumes it is POSSIBLE for the USA to continue its global policeman and ideological advocate, when in fact, the postwar era has been proven dead by i) islamism, ii) serial failures of democracy around the world, and its replacement with state corporatism, iii) our serial failures at postwar policing, iiii) the evidence that we have been on the wrong side in the world wars, in the Arab Israeli conflict, and in the restraint of china from expansion of trade routes.

Americans were children with a lot of postwar inheritance from the ‘adults’ in europe. While there were never any adults in the USA, unfortunately, there are no adults in europe any longer: we call them monarchies. And all of those monarchs are just waiting for the rest of the 20th century’s failed experiments to come to their natural conclusion.

THE FOUR QUESTIONS OF PHILOSOPHY: CURING THE LIES OF ABRAHAMISM

Metaphysics, Ethics, Politics, Group Evolutionary Strategy.

The first question of philosophy is “Why do I not commit suicide?”, followed by the second question of philosophy “Why do I not kill you and take your things?”, followed by the third question of philosophy, “Why do I and mine not kill or enslave you and yours and take your things, your women, your land, for our own?”, followed by the fourth question of philosophy “Why do I and mine seek other than sovereignty, and consequently, agency, when there is no more advantageous negotiating position?” These four questions answer the four philosophical categories of Metaphysics, Ethics, Politics, and Group Evolutionary Strategy. Every other line of philosophical reasoning must start from false premises justifying the lack of sovereignty and agency. Once you face these question with intellectual honesty, you will be cured of the lies of Abrahamism.

    REALITY

    1 – Identity tests categories.

2 – Logic tests internal consistency.

3 – Action tests correspondence. (space, time, and causality)

4 – Rational action tests incentives – rational choice consistency.

5 – Reciprocity tests moral – rational exchange consistency

6 – Full accounting and limits test scope consistency.

7 – Narrative by analogy to perception describes reality – coherence (total consistency)

Reality is explained by narrative, and the narrative survives falsification by identity, logic, action, reason, reciprocity, and scope.

We test statements about the world by deflating each dimension and testing each for consistency.

Each sub dimension can only be tested by use of the next dimension.

The only native skill we possess is the test of “differences”. Because our brains use samples of inputs in combination with memory to predict results and alert us through new stimulation to the differences.

Our brains sample senses, provide certain services, the hierarchical (distilled) result of which are combined (conflated) through memory and backward propagation into ‘experience’.

It turns out that except in rare cases we ‘experience’ a fairly accurate model of the physical world – but an absurdly inaccurate model of the social world, and completely nonsensical model of our personal value to that world. All of which are precisely what is necessary to survive as sentient (feeling of changes in state) and conscious (self aware) life form when possessed of uncomfortable knowledge in a universe of consistent risk.

This is a much more simple way of explaining Hume, Kant, and the Phenomenologists.

    THE LIMITED BENEFITS OF SCALE

    1) the per capita advantage of cost of defense. Offset by the opportunity for high risk military expansion and its consequences.

    3) the per capita advantage of trade negotiation. Offset by the opportunity for high risk price reduction and its consequences.

As in all things, the equilibrium is better than the extreme.

And it is very hard to measure such things.

Teach it to kids (duty) so they can emulate it as adolescents (virtue) and demonstrate it as adults (utility).”—Bill Joslin
