  • What Is the Purpose of Philosophy?

    1) To develop mental fitness and distance from our impulses (to develop agency) 2) To accumulate an inventory of human errors and bias so that we do not make them in our own lives, and are not affected by others who employ them. 3) To survey the sets of myths and paradigms (stories we tell ourselves) such that we can choose goals in our lives. 4) (the bad part) to find a verbal means of achieving some degree of the mindfulness that is trainable through religion(mythology), ritual (prayer or repetitious action), and self authoring (stoicism – a ritual), and meditation (a ritual in and of itself). Mindfuless serves as a sedative for animal impulse, without the soporific affect of chemicals that interfere with processing in general.. As far as I know that is the end of philosophy. The rest is just left to religion(nonsense/lies) or science (decidability/truth). Nearly all of the corpus of philosophy is reducible to fantasy moral literature (french), or fantasy psychological Literature (german), fantasy pseudoscientific literature (ashkenazi), or the attempt to develop scientific versions of those fields (english, American.) The problem with science, law proper, and truth proper is that in matters of the personal and social we are not ambivalent neutral surveyors of the material – but seek only personal and group advantage in whatever we can filter from it to advance our interests. Yet science and truth are uncomfortable and dehumanizing. So to no small degree, philosophy is PRACTICED as the pseudoscience and pseudo-rationalism of finding excuses that comfort us given our genetic, social, economic, cultural, and temporal conditions without relying on the demands easily falsified and supernatural faith. In other words, like religion, it’s therapeutic self medication – sedation.

  • We Will Destroy Them Forever

We are going to destroy them you know: 1) Reinforce Trademarks, Eliminate Copyrights and Drastically limit patents. 2) Outlaw lying in the commons by involuntary liability and warranty of words. 3) De-financialize the credit system and eliminate consumer interest on consumer capital assets (residences and appliances and autos). 4) Eliminate the transportability (escape) of debt instruments while institutionalize the rights to income from it. 5) Reform shareholder laws to prevent hostile takeovers, and to equalize risk and exit. 6) Restructure taxation rates to reflect risk. Eliminate double taxation of dividends. This will have the effect of destroying nearly all manipulation of the population and all rent seeking. This will be the greatest competitive advantage since the invention of fiat credit. It means that there are no rents that allow you to escape the market – anywhere. Even at scale. Taxes for entrepreneurs, particularly small and medium businesses will nearly disappear. Huge reallocation of intellectual capital. Huge reduction in propaganda. Huge temporary expansion of courts and litigation until enough law accumulates on the books. STARVE THE BEAST.

    REBUTTALS OF A THEIST

    1) Law, particularly western empirical law of tort, under presumption of sovereignty and therefore demand for reciprocity existed before idealism (mathematics), criticism (socrates), justification (plato), and empiricism (Aristotle), and their concluding movement (Stoicism, Epicureanism, and Roman Law). (Despite Augustine’s attempt to combine jewish law’s justificationism using pilpul and critique, with the greek thinkers use of idealism, and abandoning the result of the greek experiment: roman law, empiricism, stoicism, epicureanism, and tolerance for local cult and custom. )

    1) —“Rebutting the claims of an existing creator?”—
Means, motive, opportunity, evidence, method of argument.
The motive is to create a lie using false threats and promises to provide the individual with immunity from the labor of reason, accept his position in life, and act obediently to priests, in exchange for monies (and in europe, lands). While at the same time ending the practice of literacy and preserving literacy only within the authoritarian system of deceits.

    2) —“Or refuting the resurrection theory?”—
Means, motive, opportunity, evidence, method of argument.
Evidence is that this was all compiled from preexisting myths, and other than some otherwise indiscriminate fellow being crucified for agitating against the profiteering by jewish priests, the rest of the story is a fabrication, not the least of which was initiated by Saul of Tarsus.
