  • Disambiguating Equality

Oct 12, 2019, 5:25 PM by Bill Joslin “Equality” is a term that’s been repeatedly … gang-r@ped. CONTEXT ONE: BOOLEAN ASSESSMENT OF CATEGORICAL MEMBERSHIP. All players on the ice exist equally as “HOCKEY PLAYERS” bound by the same rules (membership). However, not all hockey players play hockey equally (qualitative assessment). CONTEXT TWO: ISONOMY State application of power will be applied to all by the same criteria (equality before the law) CONNECTION BETWEEN THESE TWO CONTEXTS: isonomy presumes that all who fall under the law exist, at the very minimum, as agents and thus, as agents, fall under the law. “Created Equally” was a notion by Americans adopted from their French influencers… the French ruin everything.

Definitions: … Isonomy: “equality before the law” … nomocracy: “rule of law”

  • Consiousness

Oct 14, 2019, 9:35 PM Consciousness: awareness of change in state of self (non-body), of spatial model of self (body), of space around self, of objects in the space around self, of place and location, of others, as the spatial movement of others, and the model in the mind of others. This is the sixth sense (biologically it is, this is how the mind constructs experience – just like a 3d video game.). We can imitate (act masculine bias), sympathize (incentives), empathize (feelings – feminine bias). We divide the the world into locations, boundaries, objects, places within the location (space), direction of movement, head direction, speed, and distance. We do this all predictively with about two seconds to compose a context, and updated about every tenth of a second. So we are continually predicting everything including the actions (imitation), thoughts (sympathy) and feelings (empathy) of others. The male brain is specialized from back to front (speed) independent of empathy, and the female brain is specialized laterally (context) independent of speed. All of us vary from masculine to feminine brain structures. This difference is large, and I think it’s on the scale of 1.5SD. Empathizing is time consuming. And it biases you to consensus, just as systematizing is consuming but biases you to truth. This is why women are better at telling you what an individual thinks or feels, and men are better at predicting the behavior of groups. (about .2-.6SD) averaged, with wide variation in individuals. So the female mind process vastly more information and communicates vastly more information between individuals and the male mind is far more concerned with groups and urgencies. In other words, ancient stereotypes are correct. Like all stereotypes – they are the most accurate measure in the social sciences.

  • Usury

Oct 28, 2019, 1:23 PM USURY (repost) Interest vs Usury. Interest is necessary for the organization of complex production. it is beneficial for production of generations. It is risky for the purpose of consumption. It is harmful for the production of entertainment. It is very harmful for the production of anti-social behaviors. What demarcates Interest from Usury?

    (a) credit for consumption rather than production. (b) borrower beware rather than lender beware. (c) collateral If lending is limited to production, lender risk, and un-recoverability for anything other than fraud, then it’s shared risk. And it increases use of stock markets where access to liquidity is possible instead of collateral recovery. The enemy’s technique consists of false promise, baiting in to moral hazard, pilpul, critique, and profiting from capture of hazards, and capitalizing those captures as systems of rents. Usury is the most common example of baiting into hazard, by the extension of credit for the purpose of consumption, the use of collateral, and the use of the court to transfer assets to the lender. The enemy’s technique uses every possible means of baiting into hazard, defending this bait by pilpul and critique, profiting from the hazard – both private and public – then taking the accumulated capital and seeking rents against the population until they revolt and prosecute their revenge. … There is a reason this technique works with high trust europeans but not elsewhere. There is a reason it works with women and underclasses but not established men. Because our democracy makes us vulnerable to false promise, and the underclasses are easily baited by false promise, we are tolerant of meritocracy until too late. Worse, it is easiest to exploit our social order of MARKETS and LAGGING legal codes in defense of those markets and our people. And lagging technology for replacing each of the means of parasitism: financial, commercial, educational, informational, political, social, normative, and traditional
